Ok, holobot, go find the woman with the mechanical arm.

Meanwhile I cook up a quick interface that allows me to communicate with robotic creations, and see what they see.

Look for something to do. Honestly. I have nothing set up here.

You think about what to do. [2] Bah, what is the captain of this ship trying? This won't help you! She obviously needs a real man in controls! [5] You make your way to the doors of the command bridge of the transport. Two soldiers stand guard, eyeing you with suspicion. [1] You attempt to ignore them and walk straight in, but stumble and crash into a soldier. His buddy takes this as an attack, [6][Dodge:6] and swings his rifle wildly at you. You spring into action, performing an intense, horrifyingly complex acrobatic manouver of such skill it would make even flowing water green with envy. You find yourself standing on your hands at the end of the manouver, for some reason. [1] The trooper you pushed down is too dazed to strike himself.

Try to find some spare wire and insulation, perhaps a bit of metal too.

[3] You descend into the lower levels of the transport in search of wire and insulation, even though it takes you some time to [4] actually find some. You grab a handful of wire and something that will have to serve as insulation, and pick up some of the metal debris of the explosion.

Some Wiring added to Inventory!
Insulation added to Inventory!
A Little Scrap Metal added to Inventory!

"Don't worry! I'll fix it! Better!" I upgrade whatever I just took apart, rebuilding it with fewer parts. If the soldier tries to stop me I'll have the nanites take apart his gun.

[4] You attempt to calm the man down and turn to the machines. The explosion didn't exactly fix them, but you get to work anyhow. [6] The soldier lets you do your thing, no doubt still stunned by the explosion. [Power:5] You make good on your promise, and the machines roar back to action, blowing steam off into the room and visibly glowing with electricity. The lights come back and begin to shine almost blindingly, and the heating systems begin to work in full strenght. [Size:6] Unfortunately, they now completely fill the room, leaving very little space for you to move around. [Functionality:6] The quality of these machines would make any mechanic cry tears of joy. [Fuel:4] It is very efficient in it's use of fuel, as well. [5] The one surviving crew member stares at you and your work in amazement, your genius overshadowing even the death of his friend. When he finally manages to speak, it all comes out in a big heap.
'Thatwassoincrediblyyouhavetoteachmehowtodothatsircomewithmeyoumustseethedocareyouacouncilbigshotofsomekindorwhatimeanwhat.'

You gather that he wants you to see someone. He actually begins tugging at your sleeve like a little child. The soldier scratches his head, unsure of what to do.

A Lot of Mechanical Parts reduced to Mechanical Parts!

I look for the armory, and try to convince them to loan me a heavy weapon to shoot down our pursuers with. I -hate- getting shot.

[4] You stand up, slightly frustrated by the explosion, and look around for the armoury. A few soldiers stare out of the tiny viewports in the side of the room at the pursuing Watch hovercars. You explain that you need a weapon to shoot those cars with. [3] They seem a bit unsure on if to trust you, but you can tell they're excited on the prospect of getting to shoot back.

' Well... I suppose... if I come to oversee it, you can try. Try not to hit... us, okay?' a soldier says, and grabs a grenade launcher and a few 'nades from locked shelf. You head back up together, ready to shoot the bastards down.

Try and throw something large enough to block the cars/destroy any possible.

[1] Amazingly, you pick an even larger piece of metal all on your own and raise it high above your head. Uh-oh. [5] You're still unharmed though. [3] The bot, after a few tries, manages to pick up a sharp piece of metal and tries to throw it. [Dodge:1] The nearest Watch driver remains completely obvious to it until the moment it hits. [Damage:5+1=6]
The spider bot's throw had a lot of power behind it, obviously; the piece of metal passes straight through the armoured glass without even slowing down and sinks itself inside the forehead of the driver. [2] He falls straight on the controls, and the hovercar veers off towards the side of the nearest skyscraper, exploding rather spectacularly against it. From beneath you, you hear cheering, even though they seem a bit unsure of what just happened.

A Little Scrap Metal removed from Inventory!

Ok, holobot, go find the woman with the mechanical arm.

Meanwhile I cook up a quick interface that allows me to communicate with robotic creations, and see what they see.

[3] The holobot flies off in search of the woman you described, and almost bumps straight into her on the upper floor. It doesn't show a hologram though.

' Huh? Where did you come from?' she says, eyes widening. She looks around for a weapon of some sort, [4] and picks up a small baton glowing faintly with energy.

[3] You begin work on a new invention downstairs. [Power:5] It will allow you to communicate in excruciating detail with robot creations of any kind, and see the world with their eyes, no matter where they are. [Size:6] You somehow end up with a large, cube-like contraption the size of a computer, though. [Functionality:6] Not only it works perfectly, it comes with a thorough guide and is very easy to use. [Fuel:1] What is also incredible is the fact it uses up all it's charge in minutes, and makes a huge strain on power supplies if plugged in somewhere.

A Lot of Computer Parts reduced to Some Computer Parts!

A Lot of Scrap Metal reduced to Scrap Metal!

[3] The transport continues on it's way towards the other end of the yard at a relatively good speed. [1] None of the multilasers manage to fire, though.
Quote from: Watch Hovercars
Bring them down!
[6] Seeing their comrade die makes the Watchmen realize this is an actual dangerous combat situation. They all drop into a formation and surround the airship. Everybody prepares to fire. [5][1][2][2] Of course, they have yet to master the art of aiming. One car seems to consider another target practice, and shoots it instead. [Dodge:1] This comes as a surprise to his target, unfortunately. [4] The grenade shrieks off towards the other car, and finds it's mark in it's side. [4] Displaying surprising skill, the driver of the hit vehicle manages to keep his car under control and performs a successful emergency landing on a nearby bridge.

The only grenade that's launched at the airship continues on it's way, [Dodge:1] and the airship fails to roll clear of it. [BP:1][Damage:4+1=5] The deadly explosive slips under the envelope and detonates against the top deck, where most of the League captives and a large portion of the crew have been tightly packed together. The result is not... very pleasant. Khan holds on the envelope for his life, but Doc Cog is too close to the explosion for comfort. [Dodge:1-1=1] Still standing on his hands, he has no chance of avoiding the storm of flesh and metal. [BP:1][Damage:3+1=4] A shard of bone decides to pass through his face and cuts deep. Blood gushes out and he collapses. [Dodge:5][Dodge:1] The soldier stunned by Doc Cog is just as unlucky, [BP:1][Damage:2+1=3] even though his wounds aren't nearly as bad.

The top deck is now full of bodies and on fire.

Doctor Cognate: Head: Moderately Wounded

You guys got really lucky this turn, especially dragnar. The people on the top deck though - less lucky. A 5 doesn't leave much left of anyone or anything.
I just can't believe the failures the Watch keeps getting. It's like the entire universe hates them.

Funny, I've got a bot with basically infinite energy, and a remote controlling device that eats energy like there is no tomorrow...

Well plug this bastard in somewhere and use it to take control of my holobot!

Upon uplink, try to move it back from her while spontaneously activating the hologram.

Follow the soldier to a firing port or exit, set grenades to proximity air-burst, and fire at the pursuing hover-cars.

[6] You and the soldier get up to the first floor, where you set up the grenade launcher at a large viewport. The stench of burning flesh from above fills your nostrils, but you force yourself to ignore it. There are Watchmen to kill.
' Make your shots count. I only took three of these.' the soldier informs you, loading in the first 'nade. [6] Your first grenade disappears out of the view port and arcs beautifully towards the nearest Watch car. [Dodge:2][Damage:4] The side of the car disappears in a magnificent ball of fire [1] and the driver completely loses control. The car begins to accelerate, and hits the side of one of the private hover-apartments at full speed like the fist of a giant. [Damage:3] The building is well-armoured, though, and suffers little damage.

I follow the engineer to the Doctor he's babbling about. I'll try to fix the damage I did to the nanite factory as I go.

[1] You bash the nanite factory again in hopes it'd repair itself. [1] Yeah, that's definitely not helping. Sighing, you follow the excited crew member. He leads you up the ship, to the top deck. Immediately, you are assaulted by the sight of the burning deck and the bodies, twisted into horrible shapes and mangled beyond recognition. Despite this, the man's excitement seems to defeat his disgust. [5] You rush through the flames unharmed and to the corridor leading to the command bridge, straight past the two soldiers and Doc Cog.
The command bridge is a large, spherical room with walls lined with strange machines and control panels. Above the mass of panicking crew members and what seem to be high-ranking League captives stand three important-looking figures on an elevated platform. You determine the short, muscled man in an elaborate Council uniform is the captain, while the normally-dressed woman behind him is some kind of high-ranking scientist. The third person is armoured from head-to-toe, and you presume she's the leader of the soldiers inside the ship.
[4] The crewman escorting you seems hesitant to approach them, and tells you to wait at the doorway. He makes his way to the trio and speaks with the woman for a while. [2] She doesn't seem very interested right now, though. Understandable, given that the ship outside is on fire.

Nanite Factory: Moderately Damaged

Command the spider-bot to keep throwing things at the watch cars, while I find the transports weapons and begin manually firing at the watchcars, since these people seem completely inept.

[3] You tell the spider-bot to throw your last few computer parts at the cars as well, and slide down the envelope again [6] landing perfectly, but, unfortunately, in a pile of flaming wreckage. [5] You roll clear before you're hurt, though. [1] You absolutely fail to find the broadside guns, though.
[5] The bot raises your computer parts in one big heap and throws them towards a Watch car. [Dodge:2][Damage:3] They hammer the reinforced glass, making a few holes and distracting the driver for a while, but fail to do any real damage. Atleast the window was weakened.

A Few Computer Parts removed from Inventory!

Upon uplink, try to move it back from her while spontaneously activating the hologram.
"Oh, hello there, uh, considering my new environment I decided to make this little wonder to talk to you. Please don't break it?"

[5] You plug in the communicator and activate it, seeking the holobot. When you locate it, you proceed to take over almost fully, giving it a constant stream of orders. [6+3=6] You project a hologram and explain yourself to the woman. [6] ' You're a clever one, I see. I'm feeling strangely charitable right now, so I'm gonna let you out. I don't ever want to see you again, though.' she says, seeming genuinely pleasantly surprised by your invention. You say your thanks, and lead the bot back to the door of your 'cell'.
While she's opening the door, though, she pauses to ask you something. ' Uhh... those guys in the black airship. Are they, by any chance, friends of yours?'

[4] As a result of you using the communicator, the lights of the apartment flicker out and on again once. Fortunately, nothing worse seems to happen.

Attempt to create a "Power cord" Of sorts, that can plug anything into anything that generates power, to recharge the former.

[5] Even though you're not going to need it in this city or even the general area, you decide it's best to construct an universal power cord. [Power:4] It should work fine on all machines and sources of power. [Size:4] It's a little larger than a normal piece of wire, but not much. [Functionality:6+1 (Insulation)=6] It functions incredibly well. [Fuel:3] Strangely enough, it has to be recharged itself as well, though that will most likely happen anyhow when you use it.

Some Wiring removed from Inventory!
Insulation removed from Inventory!
A Little Scrap Metal removed from Inventory!

Power Cord added to Inventory!

"Damn..." Try to stand up and get to the controls and see if I can fly this death rig.

[4] You push past the two soldiers into the command bridge, and stand menacingly in the doorway. Dragnar is pushed away to make room for your entrance. [6] Surprisingly, almost every eye in the room turns to you. When you demand you be given command of the ship, [1] however, the trio stares at you like a madman. Then the soldier captain raises her pistol [6] and fires it straight at you head. [Dodge:4] You see the shot coming, though, and hit the floor. [3] The rest of the crew seems a bit hesitant to follow her example, but the nearest crewmen rush at you, intent on knocking you out. [Dodge:1] You're still on the floor when the first kick comes hard [BP:6] into your right leg. [Damage:6+1=6] Pain suddenly fills your entire essence and body, turning all thoughts into incomprehensible static. You regain your senses just in time for a few secondary waves of pain to race up your spine and hear a nasty crack as shards of bone fly out from the remains of what used to be your right leg. A rapidly-growing pool of blood froms underneath you. [Dodge:1][BP:4][Damage:1+1=2] Another blow hits you in the other leg, but not nearly as hard as the first attacker's kick.

[Survival:3] You fight the pain as hard as you can, but you begin to feel your focus dying away and cold creeping into your body. You barely notice being picked up, or the journey to the simple medbay, [2] which, unfortunately, is already in use. The ship doctor is operating on the soldier who got her face burned off by Ochita.

Quote from: Transport 1
We're almost clear, full speed ahead! And someone put out that fire!
[4] The airship is now at the edge of the yard, and the incredibly vast West Descent lies ahead. Considering it's a mass of warehouses, factory entrances, little slum-towns and industrial waste, it's an excellent hiding place. [3] A few crew members attempt to put out the fire and repair the damages. They manage to keep it from spreading, but nothing more. [5] The guns of both sides lock on their targets and attempt to fire. [1][4][6] [Dodge:2] Two multilasers hit the first remaining hovercar, [Damage:1-1=1][Damage:6-1=5] melting most of it into scrap. [2] The driver discovers that his hands have been cut apart, and doesn't react very well. The car drops sharply and begins spiralling towards the bottom of the yard. [1][2][3] On the other side, only one gun [Dodge:2] manages to hit the lone surviving hovercar, [Damage:4-1=3] causing some damage, but the hovercar continues on.
Quote from: Watch Hovercar
Uhh, fuck, keep firing.
[3] The last car's driver brings it to a firing position once more, hoping to finish the transport off before they get blasted apart like their comrades. [2] The shot goes wide, though.
