Death ... so beautiful. I could just stand here all ... NO! I can't get sidetracked like this. Science!!! demands that I loot the body. I'll need some muscle tissue for testing regeneration drugs and steroids, and the brain for acuity drugs.

Turn spider-bot back on, instal the converter, then leap on it's shoulder's and tell it to crash outside and to the aid of ochita, aka, break down wall, run over guards, and rip them to shreds while feeding the corpses to the converter.
Who needs doors when you have a man-eating spider tank, that has intelligent thought?

Death ... so beautiful. I could just stand here all ... NO! I can't get sidetracked like this. Science!!! demands that I loot the body. I'll need some muscle tissue for testing regeneration drugs and steroids, and the brain for acuity drugs.

[3] It takes you some time, but you finally break out from your stupor and begin cutting apart the body. [5] You take plenty of muscle tissue, the brain, and some other organs you spot.

Muscle Tissue added to Inventory!
Fresh Brain added to Inventory!
Some Internal Organs added to Inventory!

Turn spider-bot back on, instal the converter, then leap on it's shoulder's and tell it to crash outside and to the aid of ochita, aka, break down wall, run over guards, and rip them to shreds while feeding the corpses to the converter.

[1] You bash the bot, in hopes you'll hit the activation button. You seem to have forgotten where it is. [2] Uhh. That looked like an important part. Oops? [BP:1][Damage:4]
The bot's head begins to smoke and whirr, and cracks open, leaving the brain vulnerable. You don't dare to attempt lifting up and installing the converter yourself right now, either.

Spider Bot: Head: Moderately Damaged

Put a sticky note(or some equivilent) on the wall that reads 'I.O.U.', Then rocketboard the hell outa there!

[1] You become obsessed with finding a sticky note before the inhabitant of the house arrives, leading to you stumbling right into her, still searching. [6] She lifts you up by your neck before you can do anything. She seems to be a familiar-looking young woman with a mechanical arm and a curved scar underneath her right eye. [1] You can't really think of where you've seen her before, though the neck-lift thing does not help your concentration in the slightest. [2] The woman doesn't seem very happy with you, understandably.
' Give me one good reason not to add your brain to the Consciousness Engine, now.' she snarls, tightening her grip on your neck.

Throw my barrels of oil and shoot them when near to around 3 of the troopers. Exploding barrels. Yes.

[Survival: 7+3=8] You force your body to function again.

[3] You fling an oil canister towards the new soldiers, and it lands [4] almost right in the middle. It should affect most of the new soldiers. [6] Your next shot hits the thing perfectly in the middle, and it detonates. [Dodge: 2][Dodge:4][Dodge:1][Dodge:6][Dodge:1] Two of the troopers throw themselves away from the explosion, but three are caught in it. [BP:5][BP:4][BP:6][Damage:2][Damage:3+1=4][Damage:6+1=6] Pieces of flaming debris arc outwards and spiral towards the surprised troopers. The first takes a cut to an arm, but the second's leg is horribly mangled by the flames and metal. Of course, the third one, being nearest to the canister, gets his right leg violently broken straight off and thrown across the bridge. His still-burning body lands next to Ochita, but he's long-dead. To his former comrades, the leg is the only thing that remains of him.

Increase their gravity by a factor of twenty.

[3] You charge up the PRB and attempt to increase the gravity of the three crew members. While you don't get a full twenty, they're still effectively pinned to the floor.

"Ah... Yea. Thats not really important right now. JUST STOP THEM FROM HURTING MORE PEOPLE!". IF this fails... Surrender.

[1] They don't seem very convinced. One continues his interrogating, and, upon getting no good answers, decides to throw you into the mass of captured League personnel. [5] You land next to some high-ranking League inventor, who is currently scribbling down notes on the back of his hand.

Release their heads and ask them for general background exposition. My character will not say those exact words, though.

Shooot

[3+2=5] You do so. [2][1][1] [Dodge:2][Dodge:4] Your second target throws himself down to avoid being hit, but the first isn't fast enough. [BP:1][Damage:3+2=5] Such pretty little headshots. She collapses, her face an unrecognizable mess.

Attempt to fix the spider bot, and instal the converter at the same time.

[6] You magnificently repair all damage suffered by the bot, even carving quite impressive works of art into it's armour in the process. Now it looks like a walking art gallery. [1] Your attempt to install the converter is a complete failure, though. [3] Aside from a nasty bruise on your leg and a few dents in the machine, though, nothing bad happens as a result.

There is a battle going on up there, I needed parts...

[1] You mumble something incomprehensible, which the woman hears as you cursing her. She's not very pleased with you. [3] She begins to drag you through the apartment and downstairs, where she dumps you in a pile of broken machines and locks the door. She takes your inventions with her, aside from, obviously, the head.

Release their heads and ask them for general background exposition. My character will not say those exact words, though.

[5] You lighten the gravity of their heads a bit and begin to question them. ' What the hell is going on here?' is your first question. [5] They are more than happy to answer. They have been told of the horrible, immoral experiments the League does and sent to cleanse the city of their taint. A larger attack force is on their way towards the flying HQ right now, in fact. These two ships are supposed to be leaving soon, when the soldiers and the League captives return. They bribed the local guards and wiped out the security in the area, which explains why nobody tried to stop your friends as they rampaged through the street earlier. However, the explosion drew the interest of the nearest Watch House, who sent hovercars to the scene (though they were wiped out rather quickly, as your comrades could tell you). They don't seem to know more.

"Hey.... What your writing there?" If he fails to tell me, BURN HIS DAMN HAND OFF AND READ IT FOR MYSELF.

[5] You inquire about the notes he's writing, and he's glad to explain. He's gathering information about the Council troops and tech, as well as their bots and important personnel. He has some kind of far-reaching listening device/scanner hidden inside his ear, apparently. It's for the inevitable counter-attack the League will make when they hear of this, he explains.

I look for an exit.

[1] Even though you are surrounded by half a dozen doors, you utterly fail to open any of them. You scream for help. This doesn't go unnoticed, and one of the door opens, a new head poking in. He looks surprised to see you there. [5] ' Sir? Are you alright?' he pauses, staring at your lab coat ' I'm sorry, but this area is off-limits. You should return to your quarters. Do you wish for me to guide you there?'

Background Roll [4]: As the darkness of night overtakes you, the shapes of the airships disappear from view. You still see their lights, and that they're still coming closer with increased speed. An alarm begins to sound in the airship Nirur and Derek are in.

Let us go!
[5] The crew explain that the alarm signifies imminent combat, and that they need to get back to their positions.
Quote from: Council Reinforcements
Goddamn, he's just one man!
[4] All the troopers, even the one with the burning face, attempt to return fire. [3][6][5][3][5][Dodge:1] Five of the weapons bark, and five bullets find their mark. [BP:3][BP:2][BP:6][BP:3][BP:4][Damage:5+1][Damage:4+1=5][Damage:4+1=5][Damage:2+1=3][Damage:4+1=5] Ochita literally explodes in a maelstorm of flesh and blood, sending shards of bone shrieking everywhere around him. His body parts land several hours later in entirely different parts of the city. The troopers cheer a bit and then pick up their poor, now-faceless comrade-in-arms and head for the League hall. A single trooper looks around a bit for any survivors, but finds none.

---

Farewell, Ochita. He died doing what he loved, which was standing against a much stronger enemy, alone and bleeding. Now, who wants his shit?

I'll most likely add Dragnar as one of the captives. He managed to hide his starting invention, no matter what it was.
