No problem in borrowing the combat rules, in fact, most RTDs use rules from others.

It'll be interesting to see the ratio of the body part check roll since IMO, it has a tendency to roll a 4, but then again, thats the nature of randomness.

Also, to account for multiarmed characters or at least 6 or more limbs, I simply treated the damage as hitting all the limbs on that side or in the case of Drex, chose whether it was the front or rear leg. So, you'll have to modify that to your discretion as I have a feeling that you may have to deal with that kind of situation more often than I would.

@SHADOWdump, I think you mean RTDs, not STDs, lol.

I seem to get a lot 6's myself, actually. I won't need to worry about extra body parts, though; the dice roller I'm using has stuff like 30-sided dice and 100-sided dice.

Wait, do we have to find materials(like in most STDs) or can we make crap spontaneously from our environment?

You have to find materials, but you don't need the stuff you would realistically (or even semi-realistically) need. Have a battery, some wiring and a sheet of scrap metal, and you've got yourself a death ray.

Cool, are you using a site or physical dice? I'm curious about the site that you're using, if that is what you're using anyway.

I'll look for a morgue or a homeless guy in a hidden area, and some scrap metal, wiring, and a battery as I go.

Depending on how many actions you allow, when i find said homeless guy or morgue, I shall acquire a human brain, via prying off the skull with my robotic arm.

NOOOO! give it ROCKETS for flying!
 ROCKETS!

(also, sorta posting to follow. But really, rockets are more awesome for flying. Or anti-gravity engines!)

Both the mech and I shall look for some metal and computer conponents

[1] You set out in sear- oh my god just would you look that view it's simply amazing
[6] Your mech, despite it's average intelligence, fares much better. It understands the instructions given to it perfectly, and scans it's surroundings for the needed materials.
It walks over to the nearest databank and [6] picks it up whole without much trouble. Bolts of electricity shoot out from the bottom, but bounce off harmlessly.

1 Large Databank added to Inventory!

I mix up some more pills.

[3] You decide it's best to make more Immortality Pills, though it takes you some time to remember the needed materials. [5] You don't have to go far to spot a small chemical lab of somekind in the upper floor of a building. You could most likely find everything you need from there. [4] Aside from the front door, the wall looks like it could be climbed up without much trouble, if you do not wish to alert the people inside the building.

Find some scrap metal, all great inventions need metal dude.

[2] You look around for any metal lying around. Strangely, there is none, in this extremely rich and high-class portion of the Golden City. Hmh.

I'll look for a morgue or a homeless guy in a hidden area, and some scrap metal, wiring, and a battery as I go.

Depending on how many actions you allow, when i find said homeless guy or morgue, I shall acquire a human brain, via prying off the skull with my robotic arm.

[5] You come up with a cunning plan for an invention. You go over to a databank, and attempt to take some of the metal and wires for yourself. Unfortunately, the databank seems surprisingly sturdy, [1] but you guess you'll just have to keep push- [5][5] You smell burning, and throw yourself down just in time to see the databank disappear in a ball of fire and electricity. Damn. What do they make these things of? You hope nobody noticed the explosion and move on.
[3] You spot an electronics shop some way up the street. You could probably find batteries - and other such things - there. [5] You determine many of the labs in the area have bodies ready for use inside, though no morgues seem to be nearby.

Find some electronic hardware

[4] Just as your comrades, you set out in search of electronical hardware. [4] You decide to follow their example and walk over to a databank. You begin systematically taking it apart, and create a nice pile of computer parts and electronics next to you.

Computer Parts added to Inventory!

Look for large amounts of copper.

[5] You decide to go searching for copper. [6] All the lamps on the bridge seem to be made of copper. Excellent! You promptly go around cutting them apart and into tiny sheets of metal. In the end, the entire bridge is dark, and the remains of the broken lamps are scattered all over the place. You have to leave most of it behind, as you simply can't carry so much of the stuff.

A Lot of Copper added to Inventory!

Get a medium sized piece of copper, melt it into many long and narrow sheets, before using another two thing pieces to bind it all together in an arm shape.

I climb the wall to the chemical lab and mix up more pills.

1) Make pills of immorality
2) Sell pills of immortality
3) Buy lots of medicinal materials
4) ??
5) Now I will have become death, destroyer of worlds.
