Sympathy vote for Newton.  I had to.

Max Planck's portrait looks like he's saying "Boy, don't make me climb outta this here painting and spank yer sissy ass around. Ah don't want to but ah will if you don't vote right, son."

So, yeah, I'll always do right by him.

I usually use Fahrenheit, but I've gotta admit, Celsius is better for a lot of things, and it's getting more popular.

Even though Celsius looks like kind of a fruitcake in his picture. I mean, just saying. He was probably a nice guy and all, but damn, that wig is not flattering.

I vote for Celsius as the most practical scale.
Planck's is my personal favourite though.

I vote  for Celsius for being far more practical then Fahrenheit, and for tha sexy mouth of his.

Celsius is basically a more refined version of the Newtonian scale. It's easy to work with numerically, it's good for estimating temperatures relevant to water and to the climates of Earth (IE. relevant to me), and feels sensible. I mean, 100 means boiling, 0 means freezing. Any degree in Centigrade is basically a percentage of how close water is to freezing or boiling, and since most things are made of water...

Elegant, sensible, and relevant. Celsius all the way, baby.

Celsius may be flashier and, you know... useful, but Newton will always have the calculus-fangirls' vote :I

Planck appeals to the quantum-physics-fan. :I
And is probably the least useful of all of them.

I note that Urists aren't on here. Don't want to skew the vote?

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

My brother is engaged, and even he wants to get into Newton's pants. It would seem the strapping young mathematician has ensorcelled you people with his numeric devil-speak, blinding you to the simple, elegant truth of Centigrade.

Repent from your Calculatorial ways, lest you derive your own Damnation!

Kelvin.
Why?  I use it in Chem and it's basically Celsius+275.15.
Also,  Lord William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin looks like a MANLY MAN, a MAN'S MAN!

It was a really tough call.  Rankine is totally awesome and I want to vote for his temperature scale, but in the end I have to be faithful to Newton.  Nobody beats Newton.  Period.

Kelvin may look manly, but he was a total tool.  Did you see that guy's paper on estimating the age of the earth?  Please.
