Celsius is silly. If you want easy, go Kelvin or Rankine. What's absolute zero? Oh yeah, 0.

Celsius is the easiest.

0? Cool. 30? Sunburn 10 minutes w/exposed skin -30? Frostburn 10 minutes w/exposed skin.

So easy.

Aw, what's the matter? Didn't want to learn difficult numbers for a cooler tempature scale? All Hail Fahrenheit. Even the name is badass.

Isn't 0 freezing in your scale? I can't take serious advice from a guy that describes freezing as 'cool.'

The freezing point of water. I'm fairly comfortable outside in this temperature. I think cool is the correct word.

Born in Bloomington, Indiana, best town in Indiana, grew up in Dallas, Texas, didn't like it that much, but Austin and San Antonio are awesome, and now I'm living in Kahuku, Hawaii.
Sometimes, I feel closer to Japan than Indiana and Texas.

And yeah, 0ºC is is cool, but I prefer 5-8º.

My favorite temperature is around 60* Fahrenheit. For you Celsius users, that's roughly two-thirds the temperature of the inside of your mouth.

Surprisingly many Americans and Canadians here.
I've seen lots of threads like this, and I find that either the majority of people on this forum are indeed Americans, or it's just that people from other countries are less likely to post in this thread or otherwise disclose their origins. Probably the latter.

Look what you've done, now everyone from outside the US is going to be using American Armpit as a temperature scale.

Hazel Green Alabama, just north of Huntsville. A bunch or rednecks here, but at least they're friendly. Unless you're black.
