Worked quite well for me.

The issue with working around the IP range ban that prevents you from playing if you're not NA is that it's NOT just done because you're not NA.
If you're not in North America, your pings to the other players are pretty much going to be terrible, and you'll lag to death if you connect to anyone else or you'll lag everyone else to death if you're the host.
It's people doing that that are making it so hard for the rest of us to play smoothly.

The game is peer to peer.  It is NOT meant for this.

The host's PC's calculations for the physics are what all the other clients follow.
There would have to be a fair bit of CPU power behind every room.
There's a reason why all the objects in town are static.
It's simply not feasible for Nexon to host them themselves.
I don't see it changing anytime soon, myself.

I'm on the east coast, but I play west server because most of the people here/another forum are there.
It prevents me from hosting a multi-player game though. Playing with others is fine. =D
