There's a demo that's worth trying. I quite liked the demo and played it for a while, but I have too many other games to actually pick up the full version.

i wouldn't say its like DF at all, except it has dorfs and water and magma. Gameplay is a bit like an arcade puzzler. there is no fortress building at all.

Is it fun? yeah kind of a little bit. I enjoyed a few rounds, but i think it needs more features to really be engaging. A good start and I hope they keep working on it.

DF is for profit, you just dont have to pay for it. But donations is the only thing paying the bills up there right now, or so we can assume.

As I said already, this game seems WAY to random for my taste. It's stressful, doesnt have a lot of tactical options and is just generally uninspired imho. Not great or anything at all.

It's sort of innovative, afaik, I dont know a lot of games with similar gameplay. (It's just I'm not a fan of that gameplay)

And the only thing it has in common with DF is... dwarves and their traits as well as the ability to die from water/goblins/magma.
