Two Legendary Bowgunners just migrated to my Fort.

The uselessness of this is somewhat offset by the fact a Legendary Marksdwarf arrived with them, but it still feels like I am being trolled.

They should have good Archer skill to back that up, so enlist them as marksdwarves.

Oh, *Blowgunners

Also, a Legendary Bowdwarf arrived now.

All four of them have High Master Dodger and High Master Armor User as their only other combat skills. Something tells me this isn't entirely intended.

Then give them as much armor as they can wear and make them infantry.

Acquire blowguns and ammunition. Put your legendary blowgunners in their own squad. Have them fire on goblin invaders from your main entrance. Send a couple of squads of axedwarves out through a side door to creep up on the goblins while they're busy pissing themselves laughing.

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.
