It was high school. Big fucking whoop, Aqizzar. Why don't you ask for her birth certificate while we're on the subject of silly nonsense that has nothing to do with the issues.
Yes, birth certificates, and radical pastors too, I'm sure. Be fucking whoop, right? Be honest with yourself for once, and answer this question: If Christine O'Donnell was a Democrat, would she be treated any differently for such a comment?
Since you're probably not going to answer, as you never do when you know you have nothing to say, I'll answer for you. Yes. If a Democratic nominee for an office said they used to "dabble in witchcraft", at any time in their lives, it would plastered across the front page of the Drudge Report, the cover of the New York Post, and the tape would air every hour on the hour on Fox News.
You don't get to cry foul and pretend you're above the fray when a wacky issue comes along that makes a candidate allied with an ideology you like look like an idiot. (And with appologies to your wife, if indeed true at all, that has nothing to do with the witch stuff, it has to do with how O'Donnell talks about it herself.) Let alone trying to equate an evangelical Christian, who campaigns and makes money on being such, saying they used to practice what they thought was witchcraft to get a date, with paranoid racist bullshit made up completely outside of a person's doing. Of course, if you were any kind of honest with yourself, you too could spot such a transparently false equivalence from a mile away.
