I'm not going to make it to the session. I need to do my homework, and study a bit more than I have lately. Math and Comp Sci midterms are coming up quickly, and I don't think I'm ready quite yet.

I think I can be forgiven for not writing a journal to last 'session', but did you guys end up straightening things out and getting stuff done after I bailed?

Nope.

When is this next session? In a few hours?

Brick notes!

Note 1: Standing directly in the path of a dragon's breath is silly.
Note 2: Standing at the front of the party is silly.
Note 3: New idea: Try playing dead sometime. Perhaps imitate a zombie and fall down. I'm sure it can't go wrong!

Shoruke, am I at 20974 or at 21274? It kind of makes a difference.

Also, I have spell requests, and I'm going to become Buffbot/BFC for the most part:

Frostburn
Arctic Haze, 88
Obscuring Snow, 103
Snowsight, 104

Spell Compendium
Mass Resist Energy, 174

p174 resist energy, mass: Approved
I'll finish adjudicating these later...
I felt that this may be a good time to get some level 4 spells.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

oh, wait, nevermind...
Assay Spell Resistance is fine
Delay Death is fine, although I see much munchkinry in the future for some reason...
Glowing Orb looks fine... actually I'll reduce the level so that Clerics can cast it as a lvl 3 spell. Unless you need a level 4 light spell for some reason. But where are you going to find a glassmaker's shop in the desert? (don't answer that)
Hand of the Faithful is fine. For bonus points, cast it on the front of the sandflier just before you start moving, stunning everyone behind you. Tee hee
Hypothermia was already approved, apparently. Makes sense.
I'll approve Moon Bolt, but since the text does not in fact say anything about affecting 2 creatures, the target is one (and only one) creature. Living or undead.
Moon Lust is okay
Panacea is okay
Lesser Planar Exchange is okay... it's like Wild Shape, but uses spell slots! And involves invincibility while temporarily on another plane, but I'm treating that as more like flavour text...
Recitation is fine (wait, Maelrigar worships the same diety as you...)
Greater Resistance is fine
Revenance is fine. Do note that, when dead, people tend to fall onto the floor and lie prone, so they'll likely need a move action before they can start doing the fight-y thing again...
Mass Shield of Faith is fine
Sound Lance is fine. I like how it can target objects.
Spell Vulnerability is okay (it would be ironic if spell resistance applied to it, eh?)
Undead Bane Weapon is okay
Wall of Sand is okay. I'll give a +2 to strength checks to force your way through it if you charge/run at it for at least 10'
Aha! Except for this:
Summon hound archon: level four, basically the same as summon monster IV, except that it summons a hound archon and has a duration of "Concentration, up to one round/level + 1 round".
Also there are the summon undead spells. Basically summon monster but with different lists.
These are on pages 214 and 215 of the spell compendium...

P.S.
I lost track of my xp, are the current totals on the first page up-to-date?

For reference, here is the Ninja Wizard class that Shoruke approved last session, and here is a Ninja Wizard character sheet that I am certain is missing something, but I'm not sure what.

And I don't believe the exp totals are currently accurate, RAM.

Looking back on the thread...
Maelrigar seems to be pretty awesome for being level one. I just hope that he remains suitably good at later levels.
Interestingly enough, yes.

All-day math tournament tomorrow, sorry. I might make the last few hours of the session depending on whether or not we're late coming back.
