Wait, why am I jumping through these paladin hoops? Half-celestials get most of the class features of paladins. Therefore, I'm going back to being a fighter/wizard.

Does anybody know if template class levels contribute towards your HD?
Level adjustment does not count towards hit dice, monster classes generally have a mix of hit dice and non hit dice levels to account for level adjustment. So, it should explicitly state as much if you are gaining hit dice...
A better question on my part would have been 'when an action has an effect based on HD, do template class levels count as increasing HD?' Based on what you said, I guess not, but I'd just like to make sure.

The answer is no. The only time it would count is when it says ECL. Not HD or CL.

Good to know. I think my final revision of my character sheet is done, then. Here's the link.

You have 23 HP.

Also, you have a large bank of money I see. Are you saving for anything?

I do? So I do. My bad!

Well, I may spend more of it before the next session, but I want to save up and get my weapon enchanted.

You need at least +1 on any magic weapon. So you might as well buy that now neh if you plan on buying it later.

I'm not sure I can afford even a +1. Each half of a double weapon has to be individually enchanted, right? So, 2,000 for each half, plus the 700 gp base price for a magic two-bladed sword, plus 90 gp for one silver blade, plus 50 gp for one cold iron blade, plus another 2,000 for any enchantment on the cold iron half for a grand total of 6,840 gp. Did I do that right?

That's how I thought it was awhile ago. Apparently, the 2000 is the +1 enhancement bonus, not counting the actual Shock or Bane or what-have-you.

I know, that's why I included it in the cost for a +1 sword.

Uhhh, I still don't know how a half half-elf, half-celestial even is possible. I'm calling hax on that. Plus, are you sure you want such a high level adjustment? It's gonna take FOREVER for you to level up dude. Also, WHY did you take a double blade without taking two weapon fighting?  ???

Also, I have no idea how much xp I need to level up and what I should start from. Do I start from 0 each time I level up, or do I go from the minimum to level up from last level? eg it takes 1000 xp to level up from level 2 to 3, and 2000 to level up from 3 to 4. Do I start from 1000 and need 1000 more to get to level 4?

Er. No. You already have payed all the masterwork and special material costs. All it would take is just buying the +1. Which you need eventually anyway. It would only take 2000 to add +1 to ether blade. 4000 for both. Which you have. And you need anyway.

Also, I have no idea how much xp I need to level up and what I should start from. Your numbers are a bit off. It takes 1000 to go from 1 to 2. 3000 to go from 2 to 3. And 6000 to go from 3 to 4. And you do not start from zero, you keep your exp from last level.

So:

Level EXP needed

1 0
2 1000
3 3000
4 6000
5 10,000

Yes. Also Mythweavers sheets actually handle most of this for you.

The 2000 gp for any enchantment on cold iron hasn't been paid, so I could only buy a +1 for one half of the sword.

(1) Uhhh, I still don't know how a half half-elf, half-celestial even is possible. I'm calling hax on that. (2) Plus, are you sure you want such a high level adjustment? 1) A half half-elf, half-celestial is valid. Imagine the result of a half-elf and a full celestial bumping uglies. 2) Yes, I'm quite sure I want to be vastly out-leveled. 3) True, true. 4) I'm going to take that feat, but I need to either take another level of fighter to get the feat or take two levels of wizard so I can get the feat at level 3.
