Arcane casters who can cast level 5 spells should be able to cast permanency on a different spell; I don't think cloudkill was one of the spells listed as permanable, so you'd need to run it by Shoruke.

It is time for Shoruke to get a different forum avatar...

So, does the title indicate that there is or is not a session on Saturday?

I'm confused. In the experience list for last session, why is Raspul there twice?

And are the numbers on the left of the names the levels of the characters?

Checklist of stuff to do:

1. Increase AC.
2. Find some way of getting one more BAB as fast as possible to increase damage output and avoid getting hit.
3. Remember to use Fenrir as an ablative shield more often.
4. ???
5. Profit!

So, is this game back on or what? :P

Sometimes. Shoruke has school stuff this term. Maybe not next term, though!

Yeah, Raspul got knowcked down to level four by his Crucimigration.

As for next term (i.e. start of January to end of April), I have only four Comp Sci classes instead of five... plus Anthropology.

I'm only level 4, though. Not 5.

Shoruke, what are your thoughts on equipment enchanted to benefit Lucus in wolf form? That is, would it be acceptable to use the Craft Wondrous Item feat to make homebrewed magic items that are activated upon switching forms? Would that be possible?

Were-wolf society doesn't seem like something that would typically encourage magical tinkering, but there are many creatures that use the alternate form ability and also there are magical means of altering one's form. It seems doubtful that wolf-specific items would be particularly common, although there would be the odd wealthy or magically inclined werewolf that would want custom equipment, and being magically inclined yourself you could reasonably use the theories of more common items to be better suited to your situation.

An item that grants DR 5/silver and stacks with natural DR would likely require custom crafting or to have been crafted by creatures with such damage reduction. Gloves that, upon the wielder's hands becoming natural weapons, meld into the natural weapons and grant them some form of weapon enchantment, would likely be crafted by any practitioner of aggressive transmutation magics...

What I was thinking of was some article of clothing that grants an armor bonus to AC when transformed, sort of like Mage Armor. Add to that an item that makes Lucus' bite attack have a +something enhancement bonus, and it'd be like a human fighting with scale armor and a longsword.

Anybody have any thoughts on how I could make my guy somewhat viable in combat? I can't think of that many ways aside from magic items and layering tons of buffs on. Not very many feats seem suitable for a wolf, because most combat feats are oriented towards using specific weapons. I'm hoping I'm missing something here...

Whatever you take, Ethan's got the Craft Wondrous Item feat and thus you should take a different feat when you get a chance.

Speaking of which, Ethan is open for item-making right now for 3/4 market price. 1/4 market price can be IOU, but half needs to be on the spot.

If anyone wants a first level pearl of power especially, just let me know.
