Server is up.

I took a look at that librarian class (the one with Conan the Librarian from UHF as the picture?), and the short answer is "no".
It's got as many skill points as a rogue, bonus feats, at-will spells, ludicrous skill bonuses, and to make the fluff work, you would have to spend all of your time in a library, sitting still and guarding the place. Either that or carry the library around in your backpack, and the 12 cubic feet in a Handy Haversack only goes so far.

As for artifacts, I've got them about covered, but thanks for the reference anyway  ;D

Didn't realize we had a session today with all the silence leading up to it. Meh. Oh well.

Okay, my backup is ready. I need a clarification on my hp though. If I take 7 as the average for d12s, do I take 6 as the average on d10s? I used 6 when I calculated it.

Also, can you send me a link to that coin again, Barb? I might want to take another look at it.

Otherwise I just want to get approvement on Lance Wester, Human Swashbuckler/AKA Lucky Bastard

I do recall a Lucky Bastard PrC on GitP, and one in Tome of Artifacts, though the latter requires exposure to the Lucky Coin and thus is not really applicable in this campaign...

(on (temporary?) hiatus) means no session tonight?

I think so.

Sorry, next week is the Week of the Satanic Midterm Spamming, so I'm spending tonight reading my SET OF Information Security textbooks, and tomorrow I'm making some bullcrap XNA program (and the accompanying documentation, natch) to organize fish tanks in a room.

And then on Monday the fun starts.

So, next week? Or two weeks from now?

Also, I've got an itch to play a Binder (I seem to recall you saying they were okay). Plus, Ethan is one-dimensional at best. Little to no actual RP, so he'll probably become ludicrously reckless in combat and end up getting himself killed.

Huh, I thought Ethan was one of the more well-developed characters.

And yeah, Binders are good if you use stuff from other books. Tome-of-Magic-only Binders are about as bad as Truenamers and Shadowcasters.

Really? I'd find it interesting to hear why, as it seems to me that he's pretty much one-dimensional.

Unless you count the fact that Binder with Naberius is pretty much the 0th level of the Hellfire Warlock PrC.
