As to my observations of our own performance, I fear I was right to withhold my complete trust from the group. As expected, they have no concept of what value to extract from our recent exploits, and have left the responsibilities with myself, on my person, as I lack the knowledge of the locality required to determine adequate facilities for the obfuscation of our hazardous efforts. So I am stuck with it, and the impending doom that gathers about it.
I gave you a lead box. Also, our mission is to find an ocean, right?
A lead box helps, it is far from certain though.

The mission is to find ALL of the oceans, lakes, major rivers and/or their sources, aquifers, oases, and any other natural water-source and sanctify them to Procan.

Sweet mercy, your read that thing? I was going for 'so unfathomably verbose that mere mortals would shy away in horror'. It is all a cunning ruse to get away with implementing a random verbossitude generator to fake my journals...

P.S.
To be fair, the verbosity is more about obscuring what is said from being incriminating...

Yup! Verbositude is fairly boss, but I prefer verbosity.

The mission is to find ALL of the oceans, lakes, major rivers and/or their sources, aquifers, oases, and any other natural water-source and sanctify them to Procan.
This will be an awesome adventure.

Can I just go ahead and level to 6th now? I should be either 4th or 6th by the end of next session and would like to update my sheet sooner rather than later.

Wich feat should I get at 6th?
Domain spontaneity(domain), lets me trade my prepped spells for domain spells. I will have knowledge(good for spur-of-the moment detection spells), oracle(similar to knowledge, from complete divine), animal(animal specific spells and summoning), and travel(lots of teleportation with a dash of other movements effects and divinations), Travel would be the most likely pick. Burns sturn attempts so is of limited uses/day.
Divine metamagic(rapid spell), burn turning attempts instead of spell-levels to rapidise my spells, mostly used to get summoning spells out in the same round I cast them, but also handy for other long-casting-time-spells, such as getting a 10 minute divination out in 1 minute... Should be fine with the DM as getting a 1round spell off as a standard is not really a boost in damage over time, quicken and persistent are the real cheese-machines of divine metamagic...(for example, getting a divine power and divine favour out in one round is scary, but it is what 9th level clerics do, getting a divine power and a righteous might out in one round, or a righteous might and a full attack at 9th level is just silly, and persistent is even more powerful than quicken...)
Craft magic arms and armour, arms and armour are where people tend to dump their cash, and having the feat lets you customise your items to exact specifications, for half price, costs xp though, which is a downer...
Craft wonderous items, where squishies tend to dump their cash, make all those weird trinkets the loot tables don't want you to have. Also lets you sneak up behind the weath per level ration in a dark deserted alley-way with a poisoned knife. Clerics with this feat tend to have a bag of first-level pearls of power instead of cure light wounds wands. A whole wand may be cheaper to buy than a single pearl, but you get your full caster-level and it lasts forever.

Crafting feats are probably largely redundant while we are on good terms with the mage guild, but they are great feats to have in the party...

Quicken spell, I love this one, it is an extra action in combat. Bless may not sound like a good use for a 5th level spell slot, but every +1 helps, and if it is a free action on top of a high-level summon then that is just nice...

extra turning, not really, but if I had one of the divine feats I might want it for 9th level...

Improved initiative, getting a summoned critter out before the enemy acts is a really nice idea, few things are as relieve ans seeing somone else taking a pounce or improved grab+swallow whole that was meant for you...

Extra domain(meta), with great spells like Summon plot, Commune with D.M. notes, Summon python reference, Load dice, Summon bigger fish, and greater command(plot) this domain is a winner, and the granted power of playing with the monster manual open has saved me many times...

Iron will, improved toughness, etc., living longer is always nice...

Suggestions for other feats would be welcome, bear in mind that I am going for a summoner, summoning works with most metamagic feats, but they generally aren't worth it. I get augment summoning from a class in a while, it hurts not having it but... I bet the D.M. would let me trade it in when my class grants it, such a move really wouldn't suit my style, but augment would be an obvious choice...

Quicken Spell is extremely excellent. Also up for consideration would be Maximize Spell or, if Shoruke rules that it rounds up, Empower Spell. Summoning 3 medium scorpions or 5 webspitting spiders instead of summoning a single lion could well be worth it.

That domain is for Cheddar Monks only.

I can't seem to find any Spell DC increasing items that don't cost 10k (Greater Arcane Might crystal I think it was, but that was it for items). I saw the Vest of the Master Evoker (MIC, p. 146) which sells for 10k, but it increases both damage and spell DC for evocation spells. Could it be modified to be a Vest of the Master Illusionist? If the damage were dropped from the effects and the school of spells changed to Illusion what would be a good cost for that?

Other than my homebrew vest idea there is only a 12k Hat of Fox's Cunning to get (+4 to INT). That's a total of +4 to spell DC if the vest is OK'd. I wasn't expecting spell DC increases to be so rare. It's a shame that spellcasting level increases didn't affect spell DC since there are so many. Time to save up like mad I suppose.

@RAM: I would suggest no on the Craft Wondrous Items feat, as I need it for the prestige class I want. DMM is decent (persist is pure cheese, though). I recall CK having a feat that allows the casting of spontaneous SNA spells, if that interests you. Domain Spontaneity looks cool and useful.

And when you do get Augment, my experience shows Beckon the Frozen to be nice with a summon that does shitloads of attacks. Because 1d6 cold damage apiece.

And once my base fort save gets high enough, Frozen Wild Shape is tempting. Granted, I won't get 12-Headed Cryohydra Wild Shape, but I would be unlikely to take it anyways.

Save DC increases are incredibly rare, I am amazedthat you found any items at all to be honest. If I wanted really really crazy DCs on a character I would probably make a cleric with divine metamagic(heighten), throw in earth and water domains, an extra turning or two, you could get, hmmmm, human, level 5, feats heighten, divine meta- Hey! Since when was heighten capped at 9th! *digs out PHB* wow, so they saw this coming, stinks for epic mages... Well DC 20+wisdom bonus at 5th level shouldn't be too hard, probably only a couple per day though...

You know guys, I know something even more hilarious and icy than using beckon the frozen.

1. Take Snowcasting. If you add in snow as a material component, your spells get the cold descriptor.
2. Optionally, take Eschew Materials to ignore the snow.
3. Wear Blue Ice armor, ignoring any and all ASF because that's how blue ice works.
4. Profit!

Kind of odd that spell DC increases are so stupidly hard to find on items considering illusion specialists were written into the revised player's handbook and everything. I mean EVERYTHING is based on the spell DC for illusionists. Without spell DC boosts I'd be useless in most cases. Hell, with my base spell DC at 17 nearly all creatures have a 30% chance of passing the save, and that is WITH specializing. That's pretty bad considering that a single humanoid could ruin an illusion by telling others. At least Master Specialist has a DC boost at level 4.

Heighten spell does little for an illusionist. If you want a lower level spell such as major image to have a higher DC then you'd have to basically lose a higher level slot for something that is inferior to a higher level image spell. With the lower level illusions there are more save chances from a lack of tactile and thermal details that the higher level spells have. If you're going for phantasms though then it might not be too bad since it has some nice fear effects, or ability damage at least.

I'm probably going to be unable to make the next few sessions, and tomorrow's is definitely not going to happen.

I will most likely be late. For me, the game usually starts at 3. I've been told that the thing I'm being forced to go to will go until six, but that we're not staying that long. What that means, I have no idea.

(The margin has a amazingly good free hand drawing of Stihe, done with loving care. She's shooting crossbow bolts at spiders, who are drawn comically weak and ugly in comparison.)

I'd asked for it, but there wasn't any real discussion on the topic.
