You get 2700 gold worth of items and a free set of desert clothes. Pick good stuff!

Looks like the session is going to be Monday, at the usual time. See you all there.
ESPECIALLY Happery. I will especially see you there, bad memory or not.  ;D

As for Angle... Your stats aren't valid, because you can't go below 8 in point buy before racial adjustments, and humans have no attribute modifiers. My guess is that you meant to type 8 for charisma... plus you have 2,700 gp of spending money, so you should probably buy yourself some better gear than a stick, a sling, and some pebbles. And you'll need to pick a second language, since you have an int bonus.

Other than those nitpicky details, welcome to the group, see you tomorrow if possible  :D

Can I count a feather cloak, from the sandstorm book, as my free desert clothing? It costs 1000 gp. If not, can I buy one with some of my 2700 gold?

edit-nvm, that's light armor.

I used the dice rolling method, not the point buy method. I can bump that up to an 8, though. As for better items, I have no idea what to buy.
oh - and when do we meet, exactly? I've got maptools, and I've figured out how to connect to server, but I dont see eastern marches in the list.

Unless my timing is off in about 30 minutes. As to the point buy method here is a link to how it works..

So should I re-do my stats with point buy? and can I buy stuff from the magic item compendium?

Yes point buy is what you should have used, and I don't see why not... but then again I'm not the DM.

I'll probably be able to make it tonight as well...it may be storming, but not too bad. Can I get a final judgement on this homebrew spell, btw? You said it would maybe fine as a level two spell.

I guess my time was wrong, and from what I can see the server is not up yet.

Ah thanks for the clarification Kogan... Don't know why I thought it was at five.
