Akoth is now gone, back to his home plane. Everyone who participated in a session while he was in the group's care gets 350 mission completion exp!

(Triple post, I feel like a bad person or something... makes up for my relative silence during finals though)

Attendance was down!
Akoth went home!
Some people that didn't even show up got 350 exp!
There was hell of roleplaying!
People are starting to figure out what kind of things the mage guild is useful for!
The sandflier is getting crowded!
We've got the notes! All of them!
Journals are worth experience!
YAAAAAY

(I suspect that, when I read over this later, it's going to sound uncharacteristically hyper)

So who got experience that didn't show up? I hope that I'm one of them.

To paraphrase shoruke, pretty much anyone who has played since Akoth has been here. I guarantee you are.

Is that me? Sorry for not showing up, my track meet was delayed for lightning and I got back four hours later than I should have. There's only one or two more meets on Saturdays, and I should make it to the next one. After that, I might miss one or two more for those meets but then Track is over and I'll be back on every weekend.

I recall Maelrigar being around at least once during Akoth-time.

I think that possibly I should have thought through the whole multiclassing thing. I am aiming for the Vow of Peace at my next level (+14 to AC from VoP and VoPe at level 6) and just going for non-lethal attacks. This means that we can't kill helpless enemies without a -1 attack roll penalty everytime you do that. Would everyone be alright with it? My AC at the next level will be 34, so I can tank things for people.

For those wondering how I got 34 at level 6, that is my current [22] + [1 AC and +1 deflection from VoP] + [+2 natural, +2 deflection, and +2 exalted for VoPe] + [+2 deflection, and +2 exalted for having both VoP and VoPe]

Oh, one more thing. If someone attacks me with a manufactured weapon there is a GOOD chance that it will just shatter on my skin. Fun. That will be awesome to roleplay.

EDIT: I guess I should mention that magic counts as a touch attack which bypasses most of the AC bonuses of both VoP and VoPe. So magic can kill me in a hurry. Just saying that because this feat looks broken without mentioning this.

EDIT2: Corrected an oversight with the natural armour bonus being too high.

Does Vow of Peace have any assocition restrictions? If so, Corina might make things problematic.

You can kill people, just not helpless ones. As far as associations go, you'll only get -1 to attack rolls for a set time limit (1 hour per my character level if you take an oath) for killing helpless people if I'm in 120 feet of you, but I may have to stop you if I realize that your going to kill someone that is knocked out. If you kill people without me knowing it then it's alright. You can probably just tell me to scout ahead and then kill them when I'm farther away.

It's less killing in combat than her long term plans, which you may be able to figure out from the backstory on her character sheet and her journals.

As long as you keep him unaware of your intentions, and don't have him nearby when you kill people then your fine. The 8 Int score should work in your favor as far as remaining unaware.

It is up to you, of course. I simply wanted to make you aware that it might lead to some conflict later on.

A little conflict in the group is most certainly worth 10 extra AC against melee attacks, a calming aura, and weapon shattering skin. Which brings up another point that I forgot to mention. Anything attacking us out of anger with a low will save will basically leave combat once it gets close to me. However things attacking us for food, on someone's orders, or emotionlessly will just ignore the aura and keep fighting.
