The way latin works, you pretty much have to translate full phrases.

The Ship of the Spell-Casting Thief' translates to "Nauis fur mittentes curis"

From my (limited) knowledge of the language, Latin depends on the form of the word to determine things like subject and object. Supposedly the order of the words doesn't matter much. Sort of how verbs work in Spanish.

Nauis meretrix veneficus?

Admittedly, that applies to only one character in the party.

You have got to be kidding me.

No, wait. Never mind. I thought you were talking about Arrus.

Nauis fur maleficus?

The ship of the wizard thief?

My vote goes to this.

Current list of potentials below then. If any name absolutely doesn't work for you, speak up.
(edit: list now Here)

I thought of a good one... Vox Zephyris (Voice of the West Wind)

I think I can guess which name will be shot down first.

Why, is there something in there you really do not think the ship should be named?

I was joking about the name I voted for. I mean, who (other than me) would vote for the ship to be called 'Nauis Fur Maleficus'?

It's actually above some of the other things on that list that I'd vote for.

My favorite so far is Vox Zephyris and Vox Aerae, though I like Zephyr Scorpion and Mael Storm too.

(Edit: Moving the list here)

I'm the resident Latin scholar of the party:

Indeed, there is no 'of'. The genitive case of a noun is translated with it. Articles also do not exist. And by "Maelstorm", I totally meant Maelstrom. And Vox Venti, not Vox Aerae, means "Voice of the Wind"; Vox Ventorum for "Voice of the Winds"

I like one of the Latin "Voice" names.

Regarding "Ventus nigra, ferrumque et ignes", what meaning do you want? I think "Ventus Niger, Ferrum et Ignis" would mean "Black Wind, Iron and Fire" with "Black" only describing "Wind" and "Iron and Fire" just sitting there. If you want "Black" to describe it all, "Ventus Ferrumque Ignisque Nigri" should be good, or perhaps "Venti Ferrumque Ignisque Nigri".

So... Tell me what should all be changed.
Should Vox Aerae become Vox Venti? Is Vox Aerae anything then? Should we add Vox Ventorum?

This works quite nicely.

Vox Aerae means "Voice of the Air". I'd honestly take it over Vox Venti.

As would I. And I knew what you meant by Mael Storm, but I like how I spell it better.

So, I've finally made my decision about the "how fast does one recover after suffocation" thing. Yes, it took me all week, deal with it. The answer is: choking to death counts as insta-damage. Currently, Ethan is at 0 hp; since he is no longer being strangled, that means he's incapacitated, which means he can still move around and do stuff just fine, but taking a standard action will drop him down to -1 hp and knock him out. Luckily for him, I think he has a healing spell prepared.

Also, Van, Maelrigar, and Ethan receive their journal experience.

EDIT: forgot about the item familiars... they are the height of cheese, especially the Imbue Spell Slot thing. It's like Sudden Quickened Still Silent Spell plus one free spell slot. For a feat available to be taken at level one, although this particular functionality activates at level 10 at the earliest.

Other aspects of the feat include a +10% bonus to all experience (including experience you've already earned), some free equipment enhancements, and your equipment becomes sentient for free when you hit level 7.

Just... no. You remember Ancestral Relic? The same, but EVEN MORE NO.
