Barbarossa, The drawbridge outside the city was already opened. They can sail in as long as it isn't closed by someone else.

Hrm, it wasn't opened to start with. At least we can make sure it stays open.

Would it be possible to sit in on a session but not play? I'd like to watch.

Not a problem at all.

Pheron, Mystellar, Van, and Maelrigar receive their journal experience. Levelling up from a journal entry doesn't affect how much exp you get from it; you'll be getting 400 exp.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to veto putting Create Water on the Sorcerer Spell list... although you could try homebrewing a [water] spell and run it by me. (Try to make it not clericy)

And yeah, game is apparently tomorrow. And unless there's a bunch of input as to what time of day (saying "morning" doesn't count; you'll have to translate to GMT), session will be at the usual time, 11:00 PM GMT.

Possible change of plans: my flight was cancelled. Hopefully the flight is not cancelled or delayed

What about the Knowledge as a class skill? :)

11:00 wouldn't work for me; sometime around... let's say, 6:00 GMT would be best. Actually, a bunch of other people probably wouldn't be able to make it, so that maybe won't work...

I can probably make 11:00 PM GMT, thought I'll probably be slightly late. Of course that is the day I'll actually be traveling, so I'll be Enkidu in the second network.

Okay.

Name: Summon Water
Level: 0 (cantrip)
Type: Conjuration
Casting time: Standard Action
Duration: -
Effect: You summon 1d4 gallons of water from the Plane of Water. Due to the chaoticness of the endless seas of that realm, Roll 1d4 to decide what type of water it is.
     1 - Salt water
2 - Boiling fresh water (1 point of damage on touch, first round only.)
     3 - Fresh water
     4 - Cool fresh water.

Breach the planer boundary with a cantrip?
Awesome. :)

I thought those were 3rd level kinds of spells though.

9 pm gmt and on would work fine with me.

6 gmt probably wouldn't work since I have class at that time and I would be about 30 minutes late. I would make a 7 pm gmt though.

I thought those were 3rd level kinds of spells though.
I, for one, would never take 'Summon Water' as a 3rd level spell over Fireball or Fly.

Here are some other 0th level spells to compare with.

Light: Object shines like a torch.
Ray of Frost: Ray deals 1d3 cold damage.
Acid Splash: Orb deals 1d3 acid damage.
Mending: Makes minor repairs on an object.
Message: Whispered conversation at distance.

1d4 gallons of sometimes-useful, sometimes-painful water isn't too broken.

An idea for that spell, perhaps non-lethal damage? Unless it is meant to be ridiculously hot water.

I made up a trait that gave me search as a class skill at the cost of losing a skill point per level...

Fighter list is: Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Ride (Dex), and Swim (Str).

If it was me I might consider giving you a siege specialist variant that loses Handle animal and ride but gains Profession(siege engineer) and knowledge(Architecture and engineering).

I am not certain that the elemental plane of water is enthusiastic about boiling water, that is more of an elemental plane of fire thing, but it could be a result of the spell itself and inter-planar travel. But if you can summon from another plane it begs the question as to where the other spells are, maybe they should all be a single spell, the summon monster _ spells can choose which plane when you cast them... so maybe you get 1 gallon of your choice of fire, water, stone, or air, but there is a 50% chance that it just fails...

Still, it seems silly summoning it from a different plane when the lowest level that deals with planes is 3.

(Edit:I know, it can be like ram said, but caster level depends on if it comes from where it is wanted. So at level 1 you'd have a 10% chance of getting what you wanted, and if you fail it'd go to a 1d4 choice of the plane it comes from. It'd be funny summoning a gallon of fire :) )

(Edit 2: That still doesn't make it any less silly summoning from a different plane, it just puts a humorous picture in my head. "I want to summon some air to dry this quicker." "Oops, you summoned a gallon of fire. Well, on the bright side, it's very dry now.")

(Edit 3: I am not saying that your first proposal isn't fine either, just that planes are generally level 3 or more.)

From what I've read, it is an endless sea of many currents, though most are fairly hospitable if you can breathe in water. They range from unnaturally cold and slow to unnaturally hot and fast.

I dunno, it made more sense than pulling it from nowhere.

If we do hold the campaign a bit early I'd be up for any time, just name it.
