I wish journals were consolidated or something, to make it easier to read them.

*ponders*

On a tangentially related note, I've put up a second Hamachi server. Info is in the OP, but it's here too because I'm nice like that.
The second server is named "Bay12 Western Marches II" (without quotes). The password, also without quotes, is "none". By the way, please refrain from joining the second server if you're already on the first one; it would be wasteful.

Perhaps we can set up a series of posts dedicated to journals, but then we'd just run into the character limit head on. So unless we set something up off site we can't really make a compendium of journals.

Also, it took a little thinking but maybe I was a little hasty in dropping my character (again). I'll keep my character as is, and will just have a small arsenal of backups (no really, I have like two premade at least). I'm thinking back to my face to face D&D games that I use to play. The people I played with added outrageous amounts of flavor to everything, and I do mean everything (even sleeping). So, in short, I'll keep Van and I'll try and find more sources of info on the religion I chose.

I usually keep a backup character on hand for each campaign I'm in, two if I'm undecided or the campaign is going to get far more deadly.

This backup is a secret though.

Dangit, the two of you talking of back ups is making me want to make one... and I put far to much thought into every character I make. Normally takes me some on three days before I even settle on a character class and race... let alone the skill allocations. *Sighs* *pulls out his books*

Vote (1) for the Urist scale!
I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.

Unfortunately, I still can't make it tomorrow. Bloody hotel charges 250 a night and doesn't have free wifi outside of the lobby.

Why not play in the lobby then?

I'm trying to construct a 300 reference out of this, but it's not going very well.
"Their wifi-lessness will block out the rooms, so we will play games in the lobby!"

See? It's terrible. Also, session is in 6 hours, 12 minutes. Because, you know, D&D sessions always start at the correct time down to the nearest minute.

Because I'm supposed to be doing something one level lower, which happens to cost something like ten dollars for twenty four hours.

Of course, I could possibly skip or show up to the session two hours late

Also, session is in 6 hours, 12 minutes.
You don't read MSPA by any chance, do you?

Nope. Why, did I accidentally make a reference?

Thank goodness I did a system test now.
Maptool was causing a total lockup of my computer. Took me an hour to fix it. My firewall that I got since I last used maptool didn't like that program very much.

If Possible I'd like to do a Hamachi run to be sure it tunnels through properly before the session, but at least now all the programs are running :)

I'll be joining the second network with my laptop, name set as Enkidu. (I'm traveling today, but there will be wireless.)
