To my departed sister,

We left the city about a day ago. I inquired about Father to see if he might have passed through to follow our brother, but the dwarf did not know of him. It was unfortunate, but I should not have expected the city to keep records that detailed.

In our search for information on the path through, we learned more about it. It is, initially, an offshoot to a cave, but the entrance was caved in some innumerable years ago.

We reached the cave about a day ago, and something about it seems off. It is a perfectly smooth, round tunnel, surely not a natural occurrence or typical craftwork. There was a small hole, and Lyca and Maelrigar went through, not sure what to expect. Mael says it is perfectly square, something even stranger than the tunnel by which we entered. Unfortunately, we did not bring picks, so we had nothing to do except venture on or get some. Tallulah left to the dwarven city to get four of them, but he has been gone almost a day. Hopefully he is okay.

Actually, he just entered with four picks and a large amount of work for us. It might take us several hours to clear a path for the wagons.

Strictly speaking, yes, but oddly enough, I hadn't handed out exp for them. Weird! Mystellar, Maelrigar, Van, and Ethan get their 100xlevel roleplaying experience that they earned.

Beast Claws: an hour per level, for a level 1 buff spell that gives 2 natural attacks? Nah, let's move that down to one minute per level. Other than that, it's good... I suppose...
Claws of the Bear: Okay, but I'd like to explicitly state that this spell makes it so that you cannot perform somatic components of spells, or carry stuff.
Beastland Ferocity: EDIT: approved /EDIT
Snake's Swiftness: I'm making it a second-level spell for druids as well as the arcane casters, and it takes one round to cast. Free attacks are supposed to be hard to get, ESPECIALLY at low levels.
Winter Chill: approved.

Beastland Ferocity: So, it's Bull's Strength, with an additional perk, and 2 spell levels lower? No. We can make that a level 3 spell and make it take 1 full round to cast.

We reached the city of the dwarves today. For a city of the short people it had surprisingly tall doors, I didn't hit my head once! Didn't get much business done in the city though, no one seemed interested in my wares. (You'ed think dwarves would appreciate good craftswomanship more) We set out towards the tunnel after a few days worth of rumor information gathering. Unfortunately it appears that the entrance is in the passage to the kobold city, and the dwarves and kobolds are having another disagreement, so lets hope we don't run into any hostile patrols. This is probably the last letter I can send to you until we return to civilization, so you probably won't be reciving anything from me for a while.

PS. Tell Aunt Lora I enjoyed her care package, and her cookies were as great as they always are. But could you ask that next time she use a different recipe then Everburning Molasses Cookies? When you get packages that are smoking everyone gets curious, and they stole more then half the box.

My parents have decided Wednesday is the perfec time to go skiing. So I can only do it Tuesday.

My parents have decided Wednesday is the perfec time to go skiing. So I can only do it Tuesday.

Unfortunately, it is now Tuesday Monday, and my family has decided the same thing! That is, we've decided that skiing is apparently happening Wednesday. And I had been going to use today (Tuesday) to prepare stuff for the Wednesday session, so even if I could convince enough people to show up to a game in... 2 hours, I wouldn't have everything prepared. Thursday is also going to be dedicated to fambly stuff apparently, but Friday should be a great day to game. So, session is now scheduled for 9:00 PM GMT, Friday December 31^st.

Also, if everyone could please check and make sure you know how your timezone is related to GMT sometime between now and Friday. I'm getting the impression that people are showing up an hour late and thinking they're just on time, which is bad for various reasons, including but not limited to the point that it makes me think that attendance is going to be poor for the whole session and causes me to want to cancel.

Holy CRAP, how did I- I guess all that baking I did yesterday made it feel like Monday. Very well, new plan: if 5 people can post on the forums (and yes it MUST be ON THE FORUMS this time) that they can play a game tomorrow at 9:00 PM GMT, then the game will be tomorrow (which is Tuesday FOR REALS, I just checked). Otherwise, the game will be on Friday as previously stated, or maybe Saturday or Sunday if people have stuff to do on New Year's/New Year's Eve.
