Actually, I am at roughly 2100 exp and I had at least 2 other characters that reached level 2 before they disappeared from a lack of motivation. Plus 6 or more journal entries of increasing value, and you have at least 5300 exp assuming that the old characters had JUST reached level 2, which they didn't.

I will probably not make it to tomorrow session. I won't be getting back till a bit later.

Session is in: 18 hours.

There will be no session next week, I'll be helping a friend move. JSYK.

The problem with this session is, what will you do...? Continue to investigate the mine, explore the desert, or go visit Sandtree Haven or one of the other towns? In other news, I think I'll post the group's quest log in the OP.

Also, RAM and Barb have high exp compared to the rest of the group because they have the best combinations of having been around as long as the game itself (hell, I think the second post in the thread is RAM's...), good attendance, and not dying. Fool would be relatively close to them if he didn't keep switching characters, or if I'd transferred his exp from person to person (which I don't, to discourage frequent swapping of characters).

Meh, that is simple, we will pay off the boat and try to get a gig escorting some merchants.

Or we could help the mayor build his map of the desert, there must be some rumours and folk-tales that refer to uncharted locations.

Or we could try to go into the cargo business, but I doubt that we will have the free cash to buy a decent supply of raw materials to trade and we may have difficulty getting anyone to trust us enough to transport anything that we haven't paid for...

Here's me typing from the hotel that I'm staying at. It turns out that we start heading home (a 5 hour trip) at about the time the game starts. The wireless internet on the open road around here is spotty at best, so count me out. RAM can steer Maelrigar if he wants. Procan cult solidarity and all.

If we need cash, Corina can sell Finni's spellbook, once she's copied a few spells out of it.

I think we should find the last gemstone, guilt trip the mining representative for saying that the monsters weren't all that bad, and then transfer merchants on the way to Sandtree. Best of both worlds (both being money and questing).

Hmm, I may.... MAY... make it to this session. It's tentative but I should be getting released from my job in about 4 hours so I could just barely make it.

It's fine if you're late, we'll just do the usual "poof, now start playing" thing.

EDIT: one hour until session. (the "last edit" time should help here)

Server's up. Once again, please excuse the double post, but I feel that one reasonably-called-for double post per week is acceptable to the forums at large.

The no double post rule doesn't really apply in this sort of thread, or in a story thread.

Actually, if you don't show up to the session, your character doesn't either. I'mma take a hard line on that point. If you show up, stick around for a while, and then leave during/immediately prior to a fight, then you can choose who controls your character, but that's different.

If you're still around, we need Deus Ex Machina.

Edit: not anymore, the fight's over. Wow. Long battle. And do we get any XP for fucking around with the purple orb? Specifically, 145 XP?

Long session is friggin' long. Oi. Seven hours.

Journals, as usual. Loot list comes tomorrow, when I'm less tired.

No session next week due to helping a friend move, but there will be a session the week after that. I *might* be able to host a session on Sunday, but I won't know until later this week... in fact, I probably won't know until Saturday.
