It was quite close, what with the two-vote system... Votes tended to be towards Saturday, and they tended towards the later times.

But I also noticed that 11 PM got the primary vote more often than the other times. So the game will be at 11PM GMT... 7 hours from now.

Also, it occurs to me that I've been railroading a little bit too much for a Western Marches game, so I had the librarian look up some very fun books. Pack yourselves some sammiches.

You, Alrad, and Ethan will have quite the nature cult going on.
With some differences; Ethan lived the first 8 or so years of his life expecting to be a paladin and originally became a Druid because it was the main option, considering his only family were a blackguard and a paladin who was hunting said blackguard down.

And Tallulah deeply respects nature more then worships it. I mean, she lives in it, so not caring about it is damn stupid in her view, but she doesn't consider it a god. You can read "Deep connection with nature" as understanding it pretty well, not going "Oh, nature is wonderful and sweet and kind and better then anything people can make." that you see alot of druids do in games.

I want to see what is on the far side of the mountains, we should research previous expeditions, there must have been some survivors...

I'll be a little late probably, but hopefully I won't get taken off just as the fighting begins.

Which version of maptools do we need again? 70? Because I thought I remembered reading that we updated to a newer version?

So there wasn't any combat today. Lots of roleplaying, though. And now the world seems more open!

Current quests:
Kenku problem: solved? Left to the guards, at any rate.
Find the desert city
Obtain the Eternium
Bring back a purple-and-pink-flowered cactus
generally make maps/sketches and bring back information about the eastern parts of the continent

Paths East:
through the goblin woods (might have a road? Somewhere? According to passing-out-drunk-man)
through the southern swamps
through the tunnel near the kobold cave
something involving one of the rivers, apparently

Everyone in the group received:
-a set of desert clothing
-a wooden miniature of yourself (if desired)
-an endless supply of meta-paper; you can make all the sketches and notes and maps you want, without worrying about encumbrance or volume or such natter

The group as a whole received:
-a stasis bag (can't see into it, holds everything in it in stasis, weighs 2 lbs regardless of contents, can hold up to 8 cubic feet of stuff)
-a modified Find City gem (range 50 miles, gives direction and distance (to the nearest 10 mi), once per 3 days)
-a geography textbook (allows untrained Knowledge:Geography checks, gives those with ranks in the skill a +2 bonus)

Journals... 100 exp per level... yeah.
Also, those who were present received 150 coins and 200 exp, except Maelrigar who get 250 coins and 250 exp.
Maelrigar also used (almost) all of the group's collective money to buy himself some bitchin' tank armor. Pretty damn decent stuff for a level 3 character. And you guys have a group WaCLW (wand of cure light wounds).

SECOND GAME?!?
I have been asked to host a game tomorrow, same time. If 5 players can make it and stay for the 4 hours, then we'll do it. You all have until 11:00 PM GMT to post whether you can make it, and convince me...

I'll join in on a game tomorrow, though I'll also be in my Eberron game at that time. I'll be slightly less active than I was today, but it should still work out fine.

Quote from: Maelrigar's Journal
Adventure at last! Within a matter of days, my party and I shall head out East, under the pretenses of finding a desert city. I seek more than that, though. I seek the oceans. Beyond that desert may lie many things, and one day I may find the great pool of which Procan tells us. We're fairly well prepared for this journey, too, so we could maybe cross the whole desert. We have a wagon full of supplies, and we're going to drive it through some underground tunnel through the mountains. Also, I got some pretty nice armor with which I can better protect the party from harm. I found a vendor that sold armor made from Blue Ice, a common material among my people. It was expensive, but armor is important. I hope to give back to all the kind folks that donated by saving their lives numerous times and giving them the larger parts of treasures. It's odd, even though I am a spellcaster like them, none of them can take a hit to save their lives. (heh.) Goodness is still a goal, though I seem to be a bit overzealous, judging by my party's reactions. Who would have thought that ignoring the law could be 'good' as well?

Forcing me to play only the one game simultaneously would be cruel and usual!

P.S.
Finally a chance to escape this city! We plot to cross the mountains to the east and seek civilisation there. The librarian asks that we return with news, but our path is far from certain. There are noo known paths, what we have a rumours and speculation, and the library was precious little help, but the river seems the soundest route, with an obvious path, room for vehicles, and bountiful supplies to scavenge. I should also very much like to seek outs its source...

P.S.P.S.
Hmmm, I didn't go shopping, I didn't meet the guards, I didn't hang out in the tavern, what else happened?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Alright, lets play: Oregon trail!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
That will be all, for now, and suggestions are really welcome. Also, I recomend buying stuff for yourself personally, because this is for expedition. You still want stuff like waterskins and... uhm, I guess thats it. But still. Not much use of gold in a lifeless desert.
Shoruke, I will send tabs in a moment. Tabs sent. And that leaves us with  160 gp

Awesome, now we have a wagon full of supplies to defend from bandits.  :P I recommend we bring a lot more water, though we can summon a few gallons per day. A single gallon per day won't be much in 140* weather.

ALSO: Journal is working on now, mi amigo.
