I paid 2,000g to get the cloak started, so how much more do I owe you? I may be providing the spells, but you're the one crafting the cloak.

Oh, you paid 2k? I'll change that, then. Typically, I craft for 3/4 price, where I still make some money and you get a discount on market price, so I'll call it 1k more.

Wait, I have to pay you 3000? Looks like Adale will be in your dept for a while.

Yeah, it costs money to make items, funnily enough (And XP, but that's a different matter). And that 3k includes the material cost, rather than being on top of it.

Is taking the Forge Ring feat at twelfth level worth it? I mean, if it only benefits the forger, it isn't that good, but would a ring-making schtick like Ethan's wondrous item making side business be useful to other players as well?

If anything, take Craft Magical Arms and Armor; besides wondrous items, that's what we'll spend most of our cash on.

Arms and Armor it is! That would give me more money to funnel into you making me wondrous items! :P

I should probably mention that the Cloak of Shadows and the Boots of Elvenkind both grant competence bonuses.
Which don't stack.
I suppose I really should have mentioned the bonus types, so I'll give you a chance to un-buy the boots and get your money back for them.

Also, the dragons didn't explicitly say it, but the continent falling isn't a desperate issue just yet. It hasn't begun to fall yet, and won't start for several years. It's just that the new dragons need to be raised and trained to maintain the existing float magics sometime in the next... oh, forty years or so, and the sooner the better, obviously.

And there's no session tomorrow. I'll be otherwise occupied with family and stuff.

How convenient. I was going to post that I wasn't going to be available tomorrow.

@ Shoruke
While we're retconning merchant-related shenanigans, could I have bought a couple of scrolls from them to supplement my meager number of spell slots?

I feel the need!

So, what about today?

Could we do something, Sho? Even a small encounter, eh!

I heartily support the movement to have a short session today!
