Spoiler: Vaba's Journal (click to show/hide)
Shoruke, I searched through the thread, and cannot find any mention of you giving exp for the session 39 journals.  I want that 500 exp!

Maybe you should get a concept in your head, then find the mechanics to make it work. Because it all seems very schizophrenic right now.
I've finally figured out exactly what I want my guy to be like: magic Spider-Man.

I'll deal with randomly doling out your crusader maneuvers, I guess. I suppose it's my job.

If you don't want to, I can handle it. I am a bastion of honor.

Also, do we just assume I am in Iron Guard's Glare stance, or do I declare it before every battle? And if I have to declare, does that take my swift action?

I believe stances last as long as you like once they are declared.

Yeah, but does it pass from one battle to the next? Can I spend all day in a stance?

Yeah, I'm sure. They are essentially permanent buffs.

Right, I mean. It says you can keep them out of combat situations, but that could also be read as you can use the ones that are actually useful outside of combat to do things. Not that you should keep them at all times.

I mean, yes. My thoughts on it are akin to yours, but it is always nice to ask the DM about these things so a nasty surprise does not happen.

GAME ON!

EDIT: Apparently Dwarmin was referring to the thread's title. My bad.

And for posterity: character sheet.

As one who has experience DMing ToB characters, I suggest you let the DM know at the start of the battle, though.

Warning: I'm close to leveling up, so if you want magic items, I have plenty of XP. Not so much in a few levels. I'm about 4k short of my goal right now. Half market price is in materials, and I charge a quarter market price on top of that.

Steelwall levels up!

Steelwall takes the maneuver he really should have last level!

Steelwall can no longer be trapped by silly Steel Cages! Next one that tries I will punch my way out of.
