I would be able to possibly come today, but going to my great-uncle's for the Polish Christmas Eve, so I may be late if I show up at all.

Also, three questions:
About how old is the world?
Are Fey immortal, or just extremely long-lived?
Is there a realm of Faerie?

Actually my ability to attend has been thrown into question; my family is going on a Christmas Eve outing for reasons that escape me. I may be able to make it, but I can't say for sure.

Server's going up in 1 hour, 15 minutes. Roughly.
Game (is scheduled to) start in 1 hour, 45 minutes. Roughly.

You can make a Knowledge(history) check about the age of the world, but with your characters' limited knowledge about Arcadia's origins, you'd need to hit a high DC...
The Fey are really long-lived; even more so than elves, by a factor of 2 or more.
As far as your characters know, fey mostly live in the Goblin Forest, where they are pretty reclusive, except when they decide to troll the adventurers (sometimes by wiping their memories, and sometimes by taking all of their possessions). Some fey live in Rivershire, but not many.

The server is up.
I know, I said it would be up 15 minutes ago... I set my phone alarm and everything, and when it went off I opened Maptools, and then I derped and forgot all about it.
Heh.

Welp, no session today either. And I'm going to be unavailable for DMing for just over a week... I should be able to get onto the forums occasionally, though.

So, despite the lack of sessions this month,
Happy Holidays!

Shoruke, I have a question on a particular race: would it be possible to have a silver dragon as a backup character? If you think it'd be possible, I could write up a template class for you to check over (working like with werewolf characters, with levels being used to work off LA and gain abilities).

I seem to be the local fountain of D&D knowledge.

Silver dragon monster class.

That class looks like exactly what I was looking for. Shoruke, are you willing to approve it?

My finely tuned senses tell me you don't like the idea of a character being a dragon.

I think it's neat, we've had a wyvern before. I'm just obligated to perpetuate the adage, "Give players an inch and they'll take a mile."

It's worth a shot.

I think Shoruke has the draconomicon, so he would probably use the rules for dragon PC's provided in there (which pretty much only says how to bridge the gap between age categories).  If he does I would suggest being a brass dragon since a newborn has an ECL of 6, whereas a silver newborn has an ECL of 11.

In any case you shouldn't be a dragon since it would take far too long to reach large size. :P
