Scarlet Corsair is fine to use.
Modifying Sailor's Step to be Sand Step so that it works on a sandFLIER (FTFY) instead of a boat is fine.
Scourge of the Seas can be renamed Scourge of the Sands.
Swashbucklers are fine. You might take a look at the Daring Outlaw feat, which I think might be from Complete Scoundrel.
The Sneak Attack Fighter variant is fine.
That homebrew trait is fine as well.
The thug variant works just fine.

Also, this is a bit of a spoiler, but the plot is likely to make you leave the desert sometime in the next two or three levels. Jussayin.

Session begins in ~21 hours.

That is about 12 in human years.

*facepalm*

Anyways, here is my journal. I totally didn't write this in a hurry at all...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I need another character goal. Just getting animal companions isn't much of a roleplaying goal so much as a reason to level. I suppose I have until Saturday to think one up since I can't make it to this session.

A wild up-too-late appears!

Well, Isaak is pretty sleezy, but I'm not sure he's /that/ sleezy. I rack it up to him not knowing anything about halfling biology, and assuming she's older. Should be rather amusing when he finds out, if he ever brings that into active roleplay.

Well... That would be... interesting. I wonder how Andre would react to an adult human putting the moves on his kid sister :)

...
Anyway, I can believe he couldn't tell a Halfling child from a Halfling adult. They are all short.
BUT...
Stihe is about HALF the height of Andre. Part of that is because Andre is a freakishly large halfling at either 4'9" or 4'11" (depending on if it's a point or a separator) and weighing in at a Whopping 100 Lbs, but given the relation it's probably pretty easy to see that Stihe is significantly younger than Andre. 17 year old standing next to a 12 year old, pretty easy to see the differences even if one is the Shawn Bradley of Halflings (or some other famous tall person)

Lol, guess I didn't read the halfling weight/height averages well enough...but, it makes for a more interesting character. Is that why Stihe put the shrink on me? ;)

OOC: Did some searching! Andre is about the height and weight of an very short Human woman. Which is about double what a halfling should be!

There would def. be some mixed blood in the Clearwater family history.

2xEDIT:All right, I'm modding my weight down and making myself a Tallfellow/Half Human halfling roleplaying wise-bonuses won't apply unless Shoruke decides they should.

To be honest, I didn't bother to look at any of the character sheets when I wrote up that journal. So I chalk any errors up to me writing out of my ass. XD

Beyond that, Isaak did talk about her being overly short. And chances are, I won't even bring it up in game. I see the journal as being his private thoughts, most times he won't even act on them. Like the guard he talked about wanting to meet with again. Idle thoughts, that will probably never come to pass. Especially if he learns of Stihe's age.

Maybe your freakish height was the reason for the marital strife? Dad, after seeing Stihe being the tiny little thing, looks at you and thinks mom was screwing around with a human? Maybe she was even ;)

(Edit: Speaking of Background, ya sitting on Daggerfall for a reason? :) Or am I supposed to post it? Oh and Haika, don't worry about RPing as you RP. It might be funny to have that particular interaction pop up. It'd certainly open a whole barrel of Roleplaying if it happened.)

It's for my backup character, Grim Rubyguard. I still have to purchase items.

You know your character's a good one when you have to steal parts of the Chain Devil art.

The map I last saw showed a slim green edging on the far side of the desert that we haven't entered yet. I imagine there's more land that way.
