I know what I'm looking for: An item with a shield bonus to AC on it so I can swap out my shield for either an even bigger sword of dual-wielding capability. I'd even give away the +1 shield I currently have to a party member, if they needed it. By level 8 I plan to be wielding 2 medium greatswords with a -2/-2 penalty from dual wielding. Not too bad, considering they'd do 2d8+STR+Enchantments apiece, and HOT DAMN THE ATTACKS. TWF is lame until you do it with a pair of comically oversized weapons. I think I've been needing to get back to my original theme: An unholy combination of silly but awesome chunks that join together to form the ULTIMATE DUAL WIELDING WATER ORC SORCERER.

Fair enough, loot is a bit tricky, you can abstract a lot of it and most of what you miss out on is whether or not you go through a pocket or making sure that you specify every single cabinet individually. It also means that the D.M. has to pick out a hiding spot for every item we come across. But more realistic loot is not something I plan to oppose...

P.S.
Centipedes do not have other sizes in their advancement charts, where as other creatures, hyenas, for example, can go from medium to large without getting a new statistics block... Elementals are the same but dragons have a full advancement chart...
The significance of this is what feats a creature can qualify for and what its skill points are at each hit die. If huge centipedes are born huge than they can take power attack at first level, where as if they start tiny, then they only had 1 strength back then...

P.P.S.
You want and animated shield, they are awesome, a bit expensive though...

P.S.P.S.
 Fiendish monstrous centipede:
 Level 1(tiny): weapon focus(bite), hide 2, spot 2
 Level 3(large): ability focus(poison), hide 3, spot 3
 Level 6(huge): snatch, hide5, spot 4
Level 12(gargantuan): Improved natural attack(bite), power attack, hide 8, spot 7
 Level 24(colossal): improved bull rush, awesome blow, improved toughness(MM3 p207), powerful charge(MM3 p207), hide 14, spot 13

TWF is lame until you do it with a pair of comically oversized weapons.
Unless you have Boots of Speed, a couple levels in Swordsage, lots of levels in rogue, and your daggers have Holy and Flaming and stuff on them. Cerrad could roll a heaping pile of d6's all at once. 36d6 + 60 or something I think it was.

EDIT: assuming all hits and sneak attack opportunity but no criticals , Cerrad's damage output was 5d4 + 39d6 + 78. Plus another 6d6 if the enemy was evil.
(hmm, now I wonder what if Cerrad were using comically oversized weapons...)

Yes, but Cerrad has the unfortunate drawback of not showing up to the last few sessions, greatly reducing his damage output.  :P

Utility plays second fiddle to BADICALNESS with this build. It'll be effective in it's own way, but if Maelrigar is to die, Maelrigar is going to do so in style, preferably taking a dozen enemies with him and roaring bloody murder.

I would be fine if we all agreed beforehand to split things evenly. But this just sort of came out of the blue. It was posted here that this is the loots, and then in game people started doing stuff all around, the GM asked what people were claiming, and since I said I was searching after the boss died, I claimed a bunch. Then went to use the restroom, when I returned, my claim was basically ignored, and everyone else was splitting up the gold and assuming the selling of the gems, and it all felt rather messy.

I know it's more work to separate and deal with each looting action in game. But when things like conflicts over the amounts people get, and people trying to sell treasure items that other people want, and random claiming of amounts, it just gets very chaotic, and playing a rogue type gets very difficult when everyone goes against your thiefyness.  I had no introduction to this group because of the poof in mechanic, so I have no idea how people are going to react to what my guy does. I just want to be able to search for my own loot, because I spent quite a few points on searching, and slight of hand and such because looting is very important to Izaak.

Now, before people start shouting thief and cutting off hands and stuff, I'm not trying to pickpocket my teammates, or take everything we find(though I admit, I did claim more than was fair at the time, because I thought people were all being distracted and I was the one looting stuff anyway). I'm just trying to get what I loot, and if caught my guy would probably reluctantly turn stuff over.

And now, I am going to bed. Been a long day, heh. and I'll repeat what I said in the game session. I still had fun, even if I wasn't much use, and this looting drama at the end.

First, we should let Myst Identify that rod.
Second, I (personally) only want cash. It's hard to make magical items using other loot.
I will probably be taking money from the party fund if we go over.

Quick question, if you are a sorcererish kind of person and take a spell with a natural opposite (Darkness/Light, Enlarge/Reduce person) Can you automatically do the opposite?

I'm taking Trade Image (Custom, approved a handful of pages ago) and Reduce Person (PHB P269) for my 2 Spellthief spells.

repeating this in case my old edit is missed, also updated it slightly
Fiendish monstrous centipede:
 Level 1(tiny): weapon focus(bite), hide 2(total ranks), spot 2
+1 to hit, vulnerable to mind effects.
 Level 3(large): ability focus(poison), hide 3, spot 3
  +2 to poison DC
 Level 6(huge): snatch, hide5, spot 4
  [urlhttp://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsterFeats.htm#snatch]improved grab[/url]
Level 12(gargantuan): Improved natural attack(bite), power attack, hide 8, spot 7
  2d8 => 3d8 bite damage, two-handed power attack
 Level 24(colossal): improved bull rush, awesome blow, improved toughness(MM3 p207), powerful charge(MM3 p207), hide 14, spot 13
4d6 => 6d6 bite damage, Push through other folk, throw folk around, +24 HP, +6d6 damage on a charge attack.

P.S.
There are some compound spells, clairaudience/clairvoyance for example, that come as a bundle deal and are basically a single spell with multiple modes of use. Wish and Miracle would probably be the ultimate examples of this phenomenon. Other spells, such as detect Evil, or enlarge person, are distinct spells and do not come with any other functions... Darkness and light are two or three spell levels apart and have wildly different modes of operation, so are completely out, but do look at the countered and/or dispelled by lists for spell relationships. You may not be able to use reduce person to cast enlarge person yourself, but you can use it to stop other people from casting enlarge person...

Oh, shoruke, one question. Is the Ashworm Dragoon prestige class allowed?

Also, taking 1650 gold. Leaves the pearl, and 500 gold going to the party fund, if I'm correct.

Also also, that rod is probably some kind of Extend Spell rod...

Meh, I was hoping to make myself a bit more useful than I will be. All of my current favorite spells are Evocation or Conjuration. I don't like most of the low level spells from the Spellthief schools. The problem is, I won't ever get above Level 4 spells, nor will I ever get any Cantrips. (Unless stolen, but that's a different kettle of fish. Stolen spells have no school requirements. I could steal a Resurrection at level 14 from the local cleric :))

I was wondering. Could a Goliath (RoS, p.56) use a huge Greatsword if he took the Monkey Grip feat (CW, p.103)? It seems as if the feat description doesn't account for races, such as Goliath and Half-Giant, that can use those weapons normally despite the size difference. For my back-up character I was thinking of either a swordsage or a warblade that uses huge sized weapons.

Monkey Grip and Powerful Build explicitly do not stack. I believe that's in the monkey grip description, but it may be in the Goliath's powerful build text.
