Whirling Frenzy is now officially A-OK!
Sleep is easily countered by being level 6... okay, not so easy for low-level people, but still.

So, Red basically wants to drop the Uldra-only requirements for a Prestige Class? Alright, but I'll give the class a minor nerf in exchange. The Cloak of Winter's Chill effect can only be used 1+cha times per day initially. At level 4 you can use it 2+cha per day, and 3+cha at level 7. This basically represents that you aren't as naturally gifted at ice-ness as the Uldra are, and it takes you longer to do it as well as them. I'll do a similar thing to the amulet; reduce the price to 21,000 gp and make it so that the Sleet Storm is only usable 2/day. The feats look fine. As for the elemental, I am wary of letting you give it a "Touch attack of Fuck You", but I'll let it slide for the SOLE reason that the only way to find one is to use a level 9 spell.

Any 2nd-level spell that can do 16 points of attribute damage all at once is not going to happen, so Phantasmal Assailants is a no-go. On that note, Spirit Worm is a no-go as well, not as a level 1 spell. If Phantasmal Assailants did 1d4 dex and 1d4 wis damage, that would be okay.

Boiling Sphere spell looks okay to me, although things are going to be weird if you try to use it on objects. ("I'll burn the door down!" "With what?" "Water!")

Game is in 2 hours. Server should be going up in 1 hour. On a tangentially related note, 12 hours of Banquet Serving tends to make one stiff. And also richer.

Server is up. Time to inaugurate some newbies, and do some plot-ness.

In other news, I'm strongly considering changing the amount of experience that journals give. Kogan pointed out that they tend to counteract the auto-correcting experience system, so that'll need to change. I'll try to come up with my own newly-balanced journal system, but I'll hand out goodies to anyone who comes up with supremely good ideas. Support your community with the power of thought!

I'll be on my way shortly. As for journals, how about they give (Average Party Level)x100 instead of (Player Level)x100? That would slow down the higher characters and speed up the lower characters.

Doesn't look like I'm quite gonna make it to this one, still finishing my sheet. :(

Kimiko, Andre (quite well-done, considering how little happened), Mystellar, Pheron/Stihe (but only one of them  ;)), Raspul, Van/Felrook, Kenneth (funny to watch a paladin misspell the name of his own god  ;D), Ethan, and Maelrigar receive their journal experience. IN THAT ORDER. And then Vaba, from the next post.

As for finishing your sheet, Barbarossa is right; we'll likely still be playing five hours from now. If you connect to the game before you finish, you can ask us for advice in real time, too.  :D

Ok, so it's alright if I just connect, and ask you guys a few questions? I'm a little confused, still, but almost done. :P

That just means the cache hasn't been emptied of your name. Unless you want to wait a long time, just reboot maptools.

So, Red basically wants to drop the Uldra-only requirements for a Prestige Class?
Eh? The original PrC had a human for the sample.

Also, the Cooling the Fire was my addition; it seemed thematically appropriate, and I felt throwing a disadvantage would compensate a leetle bit.

Oh, huh. I'm a bad reader. Alright, forget about my nerfs. You can keep your own nerf if you want, but I won't make you.

Current Quest Kill Count: 8.

Experience for killing *more* spiders:
Maelrigar: 360
Ethan, Mystellar: 400
Andre, Rush, Vherid, Raspul, Vaba, Stihe: 480
Kimiko, Kenneth: 436

Loots, found in the webs of the spiders' den:
-600 gp (hasn't been split up yet; decide what to do with it in the thread)
-a masterwork bastard sword (say that aloud, it's fun!)
-a blue quarts (8 gp), a lapis lazuli (12), an onyx (80), an aquamarine (500), and a fire opal (1,100). Someone among your group is BOUND to be able to get a DC 15 appraise check.
-a Type 1 Bag of Holding

And I'll see about making the Party Pog Repository bigger. Maybe add summoar rooms, with labels... one for the PC tokens, one for summons, one for backups/unused stuff, and one for just futsing around placing random tokens. And I'm going to update the exp in the OP someday, I swear it.
