You know, if everyone agrees to just name it Bote, then maybe we can just make up a story of why that makes sense. For example it could be a corrupted name (like Baelti, which is D&D elvish for Guardian's Sight) that was shortened to Bote for simplicity.

Or, it could be because one of the shipbuilders was drunk.

Suddenly I want to vote for it to be called Bote. If anyone wants to NOT have Bote as a ship name, just say so. Otherwise I think we may officially name it Bote, and just nickname it as we go along.

Annoying tautologies are annoying tautologies.

Wait! We should name the boat the Annoying Tautology!

There will be a session today. It is in 5 hours and 10 minutes. My goal is to start on the whole "getting the server up" thing half an hour ahead of time, so that it's up and ready, you know, on time this time.

Unfortunately I need to go to my grandpa's 80th birthday, so I can't make it again. Hopefully next week I can.

Pheron, Vaba, Van, Nale (goddammit) Nael, Uskton, and Ethan get their journal exp. The OP has been updated.

Also, yes, Corina's exp in the OP is accurate, as far as I know. I've been keeping track of exp changes in a .txt file for a while now.

EDIT: My monitor that I attach to my laptop died this week. I tried to re-plug it in one last time while typing this up, and now it works again. So the moral of the story is, healthy things that die for no reason might not be dead, because the universe has just been messing with you all week.

Also, the server is up; game name is "East Marches" and password is "herpadurp" (odd spelling on durp, watch out for it), so someone try connecting to see if it works.

Neg, though it could be my end. I end up having to do a different computer every single week.

(Edit: On a unrelated note, I vote we change Nale's Nael's name! Let's go with... Blakcwing!)

Okay... try now.
(silly port forwarding, have to change my listed IP address every damn time rassum frassum... still better than Hamachi though)

EDIT: the majority seems to be of the opinion that the sandflier should be named "Bote". Unless there is a whole lot of backdraft about this before next week's session, the motion will pass.
