I personally enjoyed the atmosphere of Reach's campaign (hopelessness, but with a faint feeling of hope). Though there were far too little Scorpion and space parts. Legendary was ridiculously hard, even in split-screen.
Something's strange with the credit scoring though(at least in split screen), my cousin was getting around
10 or more times as much points as I was getting, no matter what.
Kat? Should've deployed your Armor Lock.
Unfortunately, it was apparently a one-hit kill and she didn't see it coming. Personally, I thought that was a pretty cheap death.
Carter? Okay, maybe not.
Well, he could have jumped out of the Pelican before it hit. But then there's the questions of would he would be able to survive the fall, would the scarab would land on him and kill him or would miss him, and would his wounds would eventually kill him or not.
Emile? Should've looked at your motion tracker and shotgunned those elites.
Even if he did, the chance of him getting out and shotgunning them before they get to him is kinda low (those damn Zealots are frigging fast). Plus, he was kinda busy shooting stuff with the railgun to check. Still, I agree, he should have paid more attention and got out earlier.
Jorge? The Savannah should have only blown up the guns of the corvette.
The Savannah was outgunned without it's mac gun, which it couldn't use because
apparently it would render the Ardent Prayer useless for the mission. But I agree, they should have blasted the guns off. Though maybe they were trying to but the tiny guns the Savannah was using couldn't destroy the Ardent Prayer's guns fast enough.
But that wouldn't have saved him, the bomb's timer was damaged and needed to be detonated Forge-style(manually). The Ardent Prayer suffered damage and the way back to the Sabres was blocked. And someone had to be left behind to detonate it, and usually the army troops die before that point. So it was either Six or Jorge.
Noble Six (You.)? Run the hell away, maybe if Emile survived run with him.
He could run, but he would almost certainly eventually be killed either by the covenant or starvation or something like that since there's basically nothing for many miles around. Personally, I think Keys should have gone back for Six at the last moment. But I guess Six was doomed by Halo CE's history which didn't include him in it.
