So it's the first game again, but with better graphics and other things that even Quake 1 had over a decade ago.

I don't understand hype about FPS games at all. :(

Multiplayers fine, although Invasion feels like the Battlefield Bad Company series Rush game mode too much.

Campaign is fine also.

Its well put together.

In other words, it brings nothing new to the table, but what it brings it does really, really well.

Some people like that.

Focus rifles suck.

If you use it properly you can kill someone in less than 1.5 seconds. The only guns that is quicker than that (with out changing the settings) is the sniper with a head shot and the rocket launch up close.
I'm alright with it but the pros with a sniper's aim can easier get at least 5 kills before it depletes.

I love how all the halo games have like tonnes of Easter eggs including Reach and reach's campaign takes over 6 hours to complete on legendary unlike the previous games.

Because of the elites. Those bastards move so damn fast.

Its hard to kill something thats three times faster than you, three times stronger, has better shields, more health and infinite ammo

And, often as not, a sweet headdress :P

Had five mates over yesterday for system link lulz- Multiplayer is as solid as ever, though invasion is maybe a *little* biased towards to the attackers.

Invasion over xbox live with a full room, It's pretty hard for the attackers in the 1st 5 minutes but then the defenders get smashed later on if the attackers get that far.

Got to say, I like it. From what I played, Its just really clean, really smooth, really polished. Its enjoyable to play (something I never felt a Quake game ever managed to achieve, for that matter)

Moogie, its similiar to how there are so many mario-like platformers that are just terrible despite having everything the mario games had. A lot of times its the small stuff, how the controls respond, how the levels are put together, the slight things, that can make or break a game.

One of the things I like most about reach is that the pace seems a LOT slower than in Halo 3. Halo 3 was more like most shooters in game flow and appearances and details, and I pretty much hated it. Reach is a return to a more enjoyable era, I think.

Frankly, double wielding was a big disappointment, and I'm glad they got rid of it. the only things I ever enjoyed double wielding were the sword and shield (or two shields!) and you couldn't even do that in vanilla.

It seem like everyone is talking about the multi player. I thought the best part by far was the campaign, especially the end, it was... touching in a way.

I thought they didn't go deep into the characters in campaign. Like you don't know much about them and carter doesn't sound like he'll make a good leader because you don't see him on the field much doing anything. I thought Elene( i think that's his name) and Jorge had the most impact on you

First, it's Emile is the name of the Elite Slaying Motherfecking SEVA wearing Spartan-III.

Second, Carter and Kat were the original members of Noble team, which would probably give them the right to be a C.O.

Third, both Jorge and Emile didn't really have that much impact, due to the fact there were already an endless wave of Covenant coming. Killing some enemies to save you does not really matter.

Fourth, leaders don't have to be on the field. Give you hint: Generals, captains, colonels, and similar aren't supposed to be in a combat role.

Lastly, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU SGT. STACKER!?

Phantom, what we mean is they had an impact on us not (as much) the war.

Really, one corvette isn't really much compared to the whole fleet.
3 Elites is not much compared to the whole armada.

The ending actually was one of the best done endings in a while, but I was saddened by it.

game end spoilers below

Phantom, I have a feeling it was more the heroics of your team that was meant to affect the player, not the war. Besides, lets see a normal group of marines take down a bloody corvette.
