I rather enjoy multiflag on haemorrhage.

That may be because I play with friends so we have enough guys to know who's going for the sniper, the tank, the 2 warthogs, ghost and the revenant though

Also, if any of the Army Troopers survived during Long Night Of Solace, which definitely happened for me, what the hell happened to 'em?
[/quote]

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, and a post I read before this also brought up the question sorta.  Since this is my first post in this thread, I wanted to sort of answer it.  My brother, while playing through legendary with the "I could have been your daddy" skull activated, had one marine somehow survive that entire level.  The entire mission, he's moaning suicidal stuff like "Nice shot, wish it was me."  At the very end, his last words were something like "So what's this mean for me?" after all the elites were dead.

Oh, my opinion on the game.  I didn't really like most of the Halo series, but I didn't play much.  I love Reach though.  Tons of fun.  Equipment to me is definitely better than it was in Halo 3.  Multiplayer is also really fun.  I haven't played much since reaching Warrant Officer because all the gear I wanted was there and I only have silver, but the online stuff I've done as a guest was a lot of fun.  I loved the campaign.  Also, Elite Slayer is so much fun.  Throw sticky, roll away.  So very, very satisfying.

Showstopper is the coolest medal to get, and I once survived being blown off the Spire by an explosion because I landed on a hillside and slid down.

I think the general consensus is that marines don't survive Long Night of Solace, if they do, you're not playing on a high enough difficulty with enough skulls on

I highly doubt playing on legendary with everything but blind on accounts for nothing.

Or maybe people refuse to believe that Pedro McBadass can survive...

My marine survived on veteran!
"What? Impossible, you need to do it on legendary!"
My marine survived on legendary!
"Lets change that to you needing 1 skull!"
What are you talking about? A marine survived with me on 1 skull!
"Thats wrong and you know it. You need 2 skulls!"

And this duchery continues.

Maybe the marines you were with didn't know how to manually activate a slip space engine? I mean come on, they're not that smart.

I'm just trying to keep my image of Spartans not being dicks to the Marines in my head, lol.

You'd think they'd try to get them off the ship before the drive went off.

I can see it now. Jorge picking a surviving marine.
Jorge: "ITS OK, GRAVITY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE PLANET"
Marine: "No wait!"
Jorge: hurrr, wait a second. Do they supposed to have spartan armour on?

I'm just going to go ahead and say it; Reach is not canon.

NewsMuffin, Reach is made by Bungie, Bungie invented Halo. How much more cannon can you get? I think that anything that conflicts with Reach (Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and ODST not withstanding) should automatically be counted as wrong.

Yeah, treat it like the Star Wars canon. Any works in the original medium (in Star Wars, film, in Halo, the games) over-rides anything in the extended universe, unless expressly stated by Bungie themselves.

On another note, hot damn are today's Challenges easy. Just play a few games in Firefight, and you'll earn yourself a quick 5600 credits, and work towards the Weekly as well.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it; You're wrong.

Personally, I'd trust the games themselves over the events of Fall of Reach.

Anyone who's read the book knows the Autumn wasn't supposed to be on the surface of the planet at that point in time, it's just Bungie wasn't thinking about this game when they had Eric Nylund write Fall of Reach.

Yeah, I know. But still, the books were written first. And supported by Bungie. However, you're right, games over books canonically. But I'm keeping my opinion that Reach isn't canon.

I find it quite odd that both Kat and a female Noble Six has... assets, to put it politely. I always thought MJOLNIR armor would hide that kinda stuff, y'know?
