My ideal expedition team would include:

1) MaximumZero, Adept Hobo
Chosen for firsthand survival experience, maturity, brawn, and being one of my Michigan homeboys.

2) Vector, Adept Scholor
Chosen for academic know-how, storytelling ability, martial skill, and general awesome.

3) Japa, Adept Hare Krishna
Chosen for being a kind, logical, intelligent, and morally upstanding guy. He could also grow the best darned Castaway Beard ever.

And what, turn the island into a boat through mass labor?

Tack would blow a hole in the boat though.

The only ones I know of are Vester, Vector and Renault. I knew there's one that hangs out at DF Modding, but I don't remember.

You forgot Janet and Okenido (Lol, jk)

Hawkfrost also pretended to be a girl back when it was stylish, as did Jack_Bread.

There are not even enough women here for the women, let alone the men!

Really?  I always though Hawkfrost was a guy.  Same for Jack_Bread.  Okenido... well, didn't he like change it every week or something?

Neruz always kept his/her gender strictly undefined, even when asked pointblank.

Ah, but three is enough for the purposes of this thought experiment and/or my sordid fantasies

Neruz was probably a guy.

Hawkfrost and Jackrabbit are guys, Hawkfrost just pretended to be a girl when pretending to be a girl became stylish in the wake of Janet's admission.  Okenido claimed to be a girl and was the first one to do it.  He might've been a girl but it doesn't matter.  He got butthurt, and is dead to us.

Ok, I'd rule out a lot of that straight up.
First, you'd likely be killed.
Second...
