SirBayer, you're wrong. Tack isn't scum. I'm not scum. ToonyMan isn't scum. And no amount of lynching Tack is going to make you think otherwise. See, the solution is if I'm lynched, you'll know my defending them is sound and you'll stop assuming some sort of pathetic scumteam is defending each other. By that logic, Elegy and you are the scumteam, because you attack Tack but defend Elegy. You also point out that ToonyMan is town at the beginning of the game. Are you three a scumteam? Now, back to why Mr.Person is paranoid scum that won't accept an offer because he knows he's wrong: He's scum. He has no reason to accept my offer (He knows I'm Town) and is only voting me because he can't back out (It'd make him look even more suspicious.)
