I know how you feel, the only Giant Eagle on my map is stuck in a cage sitting in my animal stockpile beside my goblin-siege-in-a-box, waiting to be trained.

Repeat for every creature raw file. No more need for a DM.

I'm not one for modding and cheating. The only time i cheated is when i savescummed after being attacked by a GCS.

For a Trog arena how does this sound a nice dining hall 1 Z-level above the arena and its a natural arena no mining was involved so its like a hunt.

Sorta its this small little valley so decided why not have a little entrance release the trogs then set my military after them.

well i got 15 trogs within my first 4 months of being down there along with a giant toad, bugbat, 3 naked mole dogs, and a crawler. The thing that sucks i have no dungeon master so all of these nice little monsters are just in my stockpile.

You dug down to the abyss in just 4 months? That's pretty awesome. Though I suppose I could do that if I didn't have to make a huge chunk of my fortress population dedicated masons. Still, opening myself to FB incursion on all 3 levels in the first few months would be very risky.

And I wouldn't consider removing the exotic tag to be cheating since the DM is bugged. Though to be honest I think the entire animal training system needs to be overhauled.

No within the first 4 months i've been in the first cavern level i've gotten 15 trogs and i think the number now is 18.
