I finished Mah Blueprints, please excuse the horridness.

Spoiler: It's COLOR CODED! (click to show/hide)

I hope it's not tooo horrible and can be understood easily.

Also my action is: Carefully roll up/Save the Blue Prints. Discuss these plans with the Foreman(Or who ever is going to build the Station) lay out more details and create a much better design, as these blueprints are just a lay out and shouldn't be considered how the station will be designed.

Could I ever find a signature as catchy as that?

Is this supposed to be SS13 when everyone is working together and doing stuff or your average SS13 round?

-waiting until tomorrow to post update, (giving time for actions to be posted.)-
A SS13 where everyone is working together is, of course, the preferred method of play.  However, if it is roleplayed well and is reasonable: the occational renegade or mutany is alowd.

I stick a sticky-note to the port drill-arm that details the problem and send a memo/radio/intercom message to engineering that one of the arms is faulty.

With the satisfaction of a job well done, I go to check up that the cargo is properly secured.

Name: Professor Volchok, S.Sc.D.; Ph.D.
Position: Social Sciences Doctor / Psychiatrist
Rank: Scientist?

The images very cheesily and antiquely flickered past on the old reel-machine.

"Waking up after a long cryosleep is always the hardest thing to do. It's like only getting 3 hours of sleep, tired as all Hell, but you can't remember where you are, and you can't seem to get back to sleep. And it's worse than that. Not only can you not remember where you are, but you also can't remember who you are, where you came from, or anything from the past. Most of the time, it takes only minutes for the memories to find themselves, but on rare occasions, it can take hours; days... And very rarely, years."

It seemed ironic to me, at the time, that the mission briefing was being conducted in such a way. The past twelve years have been such a rush in technological advancement that they probably could have just implanted the briefing directly to our memories, instead of making us watch those silly tapes; spinning, clicking, whirring.

But... Now that I'm awake... The irony has faded. And that memory is my most cherised. It's the only one I have; the only glimpse into who I was. They said it could take years. Deep down I know I'll never remember.

I'll have to do my best to not alert and startle the others. I'll have to learn the others' names, blaming the cryosleep for temporary loss of information, then try to discover the recent history of Earth and her techadvancements.

Cryosleep? This trip is a short one, which would only take a year or so I guess.

Security officer Jack logs into the computer and does a general system check.  Air composition reads as %90 Earth air pressure. %19 O2, %78 Nitrogen, %3 Co2, Cryo Tubes read as Offline and everyone is already over their sleeper fatigue.  The computer confirms Rams visual inspection by stating the Port drill arm is malfunctioning.

Crew Roster.

Sebastian, Role: Captain/Mission Leader
Jack, Role: Security/Station Defense
Calveen, Role: Station Engineer and Mechanic.
Ochita, Role: Research and Deep Space Reconnaissance.
Sr. GIF, Role: Research and Development.
Professor Volchok, Role: Research and Morale Officer
Hugehead, Role: Deep Space Materials Extraction.
Trent Bastion, Role: Machine Operator.
Ram, Role: Grunt.
Be advised:  Anyone not on this roster is a stowaway.

Actions Report.

Sr. GIF jumps onto the helm and begins to rotate the ship.  The Yaw maneuvering thrusters activate as the Lilienthal slowly turns it's bulk entering the field.  The tense silence is answered by the sound of soft rain, the ships thick hull dampening the sound of the impacts.  The rain gets harder until it reaches a constant drone onto the crews ears.  Electrical components activate somewhere below the bridge as well tuned gears begin to activate, clamps are heard opening and the drill pulls out into space to face the ice head on.

Instantly after the drill is deployed, a console in front of Sr. GIF activates.

You have the helm Sr. GIF.

Ochita checks the ships inventory.  The ship itself is equipped with no weaponry.  In the cargo room there is a box with 4 assault rifles, 2 shotguns, 10 pistols, 2 tasers, 6 flash bangs and a rocket launcher with 2 rockets with an experimental magnetic lockon device.

Calveen attempts to make small talk about how station life is going to be awesome once they get there, he decides that he'll probably have to dismantle most of the ships hull to construct the space station.  Later, Ram radio's him about the Port Drill Arm being inoperable.

Rodel Pulls out a crate from storage and starts handing out beer and sprites.  Trent and Jack grab a drink or two, while not really thinking, after a few minutes they realize neither of them reconginze Rodel at all as one of the original crew members.

Hugehead takes shelter in the washroom.  Considering it's heavily insulated near the water storage and recycling section of the shuttle, it was a pretty good plan.  However, the decibles echo off the metal hull to a level that can cause ear damage in this small private privy.

Professor Volchok calmly starts researching recent events.  The last news paper recieved was dated 2021, October 2nd.

Humanity Celebrates The Collective.
The first world wide total democracy has been established last night, all people, regardless of social status, get a vote on all issues.  Secure voting Smart Phones are being delivered to every Nation, every City and every single door step.  However, Mars has revolted and is backing out of the Collective, many people cannot understand why they would be against such a sane and fair form of representation.

Pin Point Graviton Drive Discovered!
Prototypes are already in development for a new experimental engine which pulls instead of pushes!  A trip to Mars used to take 5 years!  It may now be possible to cut that journey down by 90%!  That's right folks!  To Mars and back in a single year.  The engine works on the principle of locking onto the gravitational force created by a planet and amplifying it.  This is not without it's risks, some engines report overheating, or being unable to slow down.  The Mars colony of "High Alpine" was the site of a horrible accident last week in which a shuttle crashed at the speed of a rogue meteorite.  Fortunately everyone was evacuated, and The Collective voted against postponing the live tests until a safer test site could be agreed upon.

As the shuttle learns about it's past and hurtles lengthwise into chunks of ice, denting the hull with every impact.  Captain Sebastian snoozes in his chair.

OOC Note.

All new technologies discovered will be added to my opening post.

((Wait, the quote says "Fortunately everyone was evacuated, and The Collective voted against postponing the live tests until a safer test site could be agreed upon."... It's a footnote that The Collective voted AGAINST postponing? I would think that that would be an outrage! Did you mean voted for?))

"Are... are you a stowaway?

... Wow man..."

I will try to handcuff Rodel and take him to the captain.
