That's what cages and minecart shotguns are for!  We don't need to control them.  We just need to aim them.

Yeah, the battle reports.  As far as I can tell, even in Dwarf Mode it just says "Dwarf hits Alligator" or some such.  I think it actually lists their profession, but whatever.

Ah, so it's *completely* random, every round. This is going to be fun.

I have a sneaking suspicion that everyone without one is going to be buying a helmet next round.. :D

Breadbocks: I know it's kind of late (first match posted and stuff), but could you change it so that we only see the equipment of the gladiators? I mean, sure, you can see that "Oh, he is using a bronze mace", but not something like "Oh, I think he is a high master macedwarf". It would make it more Fun in the later rounds.

//Edit: As in, being more clear, remove the skills from the after-matchraportthingie.

I have a question though; If your skill goes up (to the next level, not just gains experience) naturally from fighting in a match, can this be added to your gladiator in the next round free of charge?

No. That would only encourage builds with whip for example. I mean, would it really be fair? Let's say that you are a dwarf with a battleaxe. You chop your enemys head with your first strike. Okay, no extra bonus things.
I have a kobold with whip, I already get more points than you. In the battle, whips tend to not kill anyone, basically the whipped doesn't die until all the limbs etc. are completely destroyed. Even if I started the battle with no whip skill at all, by the end of round 1, I would probably have expert whip or even better. Would that be fair?

Breadbocks thought about procrastinating, but decided to put it off 'til tomorrow.
