And it was then that I realized I'd let one too many fighters in if I wanted to have the special fighter in. 

Arthur, If it's OK with you, I can take you out of the line up, and PM you the equipment so you can do the Exhibition matches. Is it OK with you?

Or you could just save the special fighter for when someone forgets all about the tournament and fails to update their fighter after winning. (Can you tell I have experience with coordinating things? Can you tell that I'm bitter?)

armok, being a god, would probably be made of adamantine

but since adamantine is so lame for bashing attacks, we would have to give him sword arms

You have a point, IIRC the raws for slade and adamantine have the following differences:
Color
Density
Symbol
and Slade has the [UNMINEABLE] tag.
