Looks like organised groups of criminals infringing on copyright there! I repeat my urgent call for glorious Putin to deploy Spetsnaz forces!

I'm not sure how much authority Putin has over the Ukraine.

Dude, it's Putin, he has authority anywhere his elite spies go.

...okay, I'll stop it now though. Getting a little silly.

Anyone else noticed how close Putin and Palin are?

Just a UT different.

See, so Sarah Louise Palin is really a Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin clone!

He doesn't look like a man who cares what the Ukraine thinks, to be honest.

Anyway, it's been ages since eff, fsf and other have warned the public against having laws that make virtually everyone a criminal. But poeple are horribly apathetic, when they are not getting convinced of the usefulness of anti "piracy" laws because their favorite stars says so.

I wouldn't be surprised.  You could confiscate almost anyone's computer and find something that's illegally downloaded, a breach of copyright or libellous.

It could, for instance, be used to circumvent the "30 days without charge" law here.

Meh. I'll sympathise with the rebels once the revolution starts, but that's all I'm doing about it. You won't see me setting up barricades in the street, no way.
