Depressing Artifact
« on: September 11, 2010, 08:20:25 pm »

Not sure why, but this made me sad. When i just started my fortress, i had some fun with a river and about 7 dwarfs drowned, then the next migrants had about 20+.

Yeah. It should've been a limonite swimming suit. Or inflatable duck. Or a life vest.

It's a little depressing for me, too. It reminds me of the Pearl Harbor bombings and the American sailors who died. I was born in Hawai'i, so that thought strikes a nerve.

use the grate for an emergency drain in your dining hall. that would be appropriate.

An emergency drowning chamber more like. I think that is the only appropriate use for this artifact.

Really depends on how you run your fortress. Also if you want more depressing artifacts.
