Is there any way to turn off tantrums? If so, could someone please tell me how, exactly? Thanks. :D

All that stuff is hard-coded.

But you can download Runesmith, and just make all your dwarves ecstatically happy.

Thanks, I'll try it... Another dwarf falls in the river every 10 seconds or so. :(

Okay... It's not working. It says "Couldn't find a suitable process."

Any help?

That would be why then!  You should go to the main page of this site and download the new version.  Runesmith is a fairly new programme, and wont support older versions of DF!  Unfortunately your old saves wont be compatible with the new version as a lot of stuff has changed, but I am sure you wont mind making a new world to take advantage of the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF METAL ON EVERY MAP!

Eh, I'm going to stick to this version for a while, are there any other programs that can modify my dwarves happiness?

Dwarf companion worked pretty well for the older versions.

Go to the new version. Seriously. All the GAME BREAKING military and hospital bugs from 2010 were mostly fixed.

31.-- was messed up pretty bad, but it's more or less fixed now.

Try the [NO_EMOTION] (or [NOEMOTION], whichever) tag. It should remove all (un)happiness effects from the creature.

I downloaded a pre-made version with a couple different graphics sets, I suppose there is no way to transfer it over to 2010? That's the main reason I want to stick to this version...

I do not believe so, but you can probably find an updated version of the same graphics.

This is the one I got: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=117975

I'm not really sure if there is an updated version...
