Hydra-worship isn't the lamest religion in these parts; in the neighboring country they have gods of valor and war, depravity, torture and charity (?), murder and happiness (?), nightmares and treachery. But what's their prime deity, the one they dedicate all their temples to? Writing. Praise writing.

But the nation across the sea has a goddess of lust, revelry and dance. There's a deity I'd have some words for. I wonder what she keeps in her basement.

I had a cult praising BACON.
At first I thought they wanted me to buy their bacon.
But now I know better.

"before every meal consider bacon"

"Life is, in a word, bacon" sounds about right to me. What about temples for gods of death/pain/rubber flamdingies? Do they have pools of death/pain/rubber flamdingies in their cellars?

Hmm, I'd like to consider bacon. Mmm...

Also, sometimes, there are no pools at all for me. Can anyone guess the sphere, because I forget.

"before every meal consider rainbows"

- War chief of the nordic peoples

um...

"You will experience an entire new spectrum of pain!LIKE A RAINBOW!"

Points for who gets the reference.

I believe the name of the show was Horgoth, Korgoth or something: Adult Swim pilot that didn't quite make it to series. Conan-esque barbarian in an apocalyptic future where magic came back.

As for the guy who said the quote, if I remember correctly, Horgoth's response was to grab his ponynub and rip off his skin down the front of his entire body.

Bronze Dog has been feeling rather happy lately. He is fond of scimitars, black bronze, turquoise, and kobolds for their underdog status.
