Questions about metal being used for skin.
« on: September 10, 2010, 09:10:44 pm »

I at one point had gotta a good example on giving my dwarves steel skin, but the way I did it before does not seem to work now, I also would like to give them molten metal blood. Any suggestions?
I have decided to instead make a new race using this information that function somewhat like mecha-dwarves. So I guess I really need advice on doing that in general, I have messed around in the raws before, but never with a new creature as a goal.

Would it be enough to create a steel tissue and then apply that to the entire creature (like an iron man), or do you only want certain parts to be made of steel?

Well, I was going for certain parts to be different metals, then of course a molten blood that wouldn't boil the creature. Preferable iron or coal if coal is possible.
