suggest using corvettes supported by repair corvettes to deal with the threat to the resource operation. keep fighters close to the mothership - they have the speed to be deployed as needed from there as need dictates.

Aren't the fighter and their support frigate stationed near the ressources collector? If they are there, they should deal with the other fighter, with support from the corvette in the squad. Don't chase them too far away though: our aim is to protect our ships.

We've got Assault frigates + light corvettes under my command to hold off attacks on the Mothership. I say the current fighters should go to fend off the attacks on our collectors.

I also say we should use the extra resources to build a new wing of strike craft under the command of another individual. This might also allow some flexibility so my frigates can reach out and touch someone if something big shows up on the scene instead of being glued to the Mothership 24/7.

Salvage corvette those incoming enemy frigates.  Steal everything that isn't nailed down and on fire.

You need to make said elf leather into the most amazing work of art.  Embed it with every kind of gem you have, stud it with metals, and sew images into it.  Erect a shrine outside your fort with that in the center.  Let the elves know that you view their very skin as naught more but a medium for your dwarves to work on.

We're in space now, fires are easy to put out. Still can't defeat the dreaded nail, though.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Yes, but thanks to "No More Nailstm", they are on the way to becoming obsolete.

What, you're trying to replace nails with GLUE? Sure, I don't mind having everything I own stolen by the protagonist.

Things aren't going too well for the Bay12 expedition.  :-\

So as I said before, we are in quite the pickle. Retreating our resourcing operation might have been a good idea, but eh. Its still possible, but casualties will be high. What to do....

Revive, my LP, revive!

So, I'm going to try picking this up again, it being summer and all. I also got rid of dial-up, so uploading pictures will only take a fraction of the time it used to.

However, I was considering taking this in a new direction. Might go with a less interactive version, sort of like how Erkki is doing his War in the Pacific LP. Thoughts?

As you wish. However, Erkki is going against a human player, so there is real excitement in that he may lose.

True. Hm.

I certainly want to finish this, along with a few other threads I left unfinished. Eh. I'll forge ahead, and if you guys want to provide commands, be my guest. Otherwise, unlike before, I'll just continue the LP with or without commands.

So, can we collect some more ressources to make an half-potent fleet?

agreed. That fleet couldn't put a dent in a taiidan corvette.

Looking forward to Orb taking on the Garden with this, though.  :P
