Looking forward to Orb taking on the Garden with this, though.  :P

Goh! You can't go and like, revive my old LPs/Forum Games, even if they are in my signature!

 :P

Though, if there is some interest in this still, I'll gladly start pushing out updates again . Plus I figured out how to record gameplay and upload it onto youtube, so video segments could be thrown in every once in a while.

Alright. I added a poll. If I get 5 or more votes, I'll continue it.

Oh hey! I stopped checking the polls a few days ago, and now its at 9.

I'll keep to my word. I may or may not get the update out today, I didn't expect this to keep going.

-----------------

Is there a preferred style any of you would like me to take when presenting the continuation of this LP? A few come in mind from the previous LPs I've read.

1. Meta. I'll tell it like it is, from me playing the game perspective. This is subdivided into two categories. This is the way I played it from the start.

A) I have complete control over strategy and units.
B) Players take control of squadrons, or assign themselves roles(Harvesting Operations), and take part in the strategic thinking.

2. Realistic. I'll tell it from a realistic standpoint. "Johny shredded a few Taidan scouts in the Battle of Nebula 4". Or something like that. Inspiration from Galick's LP of Emerald and various other LPs. There is also further divided into two parts.

A) I'll make up prominent characters, and try to tell a story.(Note: I'm not the most proficient story teller).
B) You guys make up characters, and I'll try to tell a story with them.(The Note still stands, I've only written a few stories in my life and they weren't the best).

3. Perhaps a less, 'complete' the game sort of mindset? Everyone takes control of a military corp and tries to meet their own ends. Harvesting operations are split amongst the corps and each corp has complete control over its own units. Orders would be sent in by PM and we would most likely never survive this mission or the next. Something like this. I'd have to work on it.

Just want an idea of how I should go about presenting the LP this time around.

Hate to admit this but I never passed the second Garden mission. 5th I think. Built wrong stuff in missions 3 and 4, barely made through 4 and that was it. Went somewhat better the second try of those 3 missions but still nope.

Well, the garden is tough. I usually barely survive it.  Its missions 6 and 7(still a bit off from where this LP is at).

Yeah my bad, the latter of course. Tried it 5 or 6 times, the last run went the best, only one baddie left. But my fleet was and 4 interceptors and I had no RUs left, heh. One thing I dont like in the Homeworld series(played the HW2 through) is that you need to know what happens in a mission to not risk losing it or having very little left for the next one. Keeping up a mixed, "versatile" fleet will end badly, sooner or later. I especially hated the first Guardian mission in HW2 where it didnt matter how many times the player killed them but a simple survival timer, so it was actually easier to pass by NOT engaging them until mothership's HPs were starting to get low...

No such thing as a necro in the barren wastes of PWYB!  :P

Looking forward to the update if and when you continue this.

You do know HW modifies the enemy fleet composition and strength depending on your own dont you? If you have a massive fleet at the end of a mission due to capping everything, the enemies next mission will be gifted with more ships. A few less than honest players got aorund this by retiring nearly everything at the end of a mission, and replacing it at the start of the next... thus shrinking the enemy fleet.
