Magic the gathering roll to dodge the third trySince
the last game caused some humongous overhead (12 pages of text for only 5 players ... by turn 3?) i will have to cut it's size. one player games are boring so i decided to make it a community game!
I will try to post regularly this time.
More on the "rules" after character creation.
Instead of choosing a starting card everyone will decide who he/ she/ it is and the story will proceed from there on.
There will be no manapool.
cards can only be cast once.
you can create cards, provided you know how.
the goal is to survive, get stronger and fulfill the goal(more on that later)
this time it comes with a full backstory ... decided by you ... by filling out the gaps... by vote!
Character creation:
" You are {Charactername}, a {gender} {Creature type}.
You were born in/on {Plane or non-basic land} . Your parents were {Profession}.
When you were young you were very interested in{Non-Main color}magic.
Studying under the village elder you learned a lot about {Main color}magic.
In your village {useful non-creature common card} was used as a currency.
You had to leave once the other villagers found out you were able to create that card.
During the following travels you were often saved by your {Main Skill}.
Lastly you arrived at/near{Plane or non-basic land} thanks to that Venser guy you met in the last city.
You have heard that there is {Treasure/Power/Wisdom} to be found here. A nice starting point to achieve {Goal of the Game}.
Strange. Ever since you were transported by Venser you hear strange voices in your head... Where did he go anyway? ... nowhere to be seen ..."
Rules:
"Turn" on cards relate to 3 turns here.
power and toughness give a general idea of how strong an opponent is and how many hits it can take.
more to come.
