Why would we want a human representing our varied specied group of hydrobandits?

I don't care who's captain.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Turn 1 Pirate Captain Hadron(evergod) and The First Fight

Oh. Obtains Pair of Kamas!!!
You run to the chest, and with a yell of joy pull out two iron kama's.  It's just like Christmas!

I know it's kind of a big change, but can I ask that I trade out my long bow for a long barreled flintlock musket? It would fit the pirate theme so much better.

And then for an item, I'd like to recieve an eyepatch, but instead of having black cloth to cover Umbra's eye, it would have a glass targeting reticule that could zoom up to 12x magnification (like a regular spyglass). It would help him aim, and scout out things in the distance. Essentially, a compact, non-telescoping eyepatch version of one of these.
You pull out a crystal eye-patch, as you put it on it seems to react to your thoughts, zooming in and out on targets at any distance, next you lift a rifle from the chest to your shoulder, and with your improved eyesight, blow a bird out of the air from nearly 1 km away.

Look arround, take a suit(or chestpiece) of light armour
(19) You look around yourself and notice that the ship has two masts, with sails blowing in a non-existant wind, holes on deck for 2 cannons each side, one front and one back, a captains cabin directly below the wheel, and the name of the ship Nysos' Sword, painted on the side.  You reach into the chest and pull out a breastplate made of worked bronze, over top of some light padding, the whole thing fits quite well without restricting movement and should at least stop some wooden shrapnel.

I shall receive a pair of Longswords, Simple, Clean, Deadly. Then I shall return to my post at the wheel.
You Lift two iron longswords from the chest, and with a flourish slide them into place on your back. (16) As you grasp hold of the wheel, you feel as though you were meant to lead, and turn towards a merchant ship that you spot off in the distance, and within seconds are within shooting distance of it.

I shall pick up a iron Highland Claymore.  Not cold iron, of course  ;)

Then proceed to help Evergod steer the ship to a rich target.
(we are pirates after all)
How such a large weapon fit in such a small chest you shall never know, though it did, and as the iron claymore leaves the chest, it vanishes in a poof of smoke.  You attempt to help steer but manage to stub your toe on the mast, you attempt to look nonchalant.

Enemies:
Merchant Ship:
This ship has one cannon placed upon it's bow, and a cloth tent covering the deck, 8 oars row to a rhythm below, no one can be seen on-board.

Weather:Clear Blue sky, calm waters, and almost no wind.  Noon.

Shouldn't it be Captain Hadron?...

Order our new sharpshooter to take out anyone on deck, and ram the ship from the non-cannon side...

Im going traditional and logical pirates... unless we get loot from a sunken ship... which I doubt...

Use my persuasion to persuade the audience to vote me in as captain.

Persuade everyone not to vote for Frelok.

Or maybe there's a god who's just completely insane and sends you to Detroit, Michigan in a new body if you ever utter the name "Pat Sajak".

Of course, that was a non-serious action for turn 1, jokingly trying to make myself captain!

But now, serious business:

Shout and persuade the enemy ship to surrender with promises that they won't be harmed.

Regardless of what you guys want to do, I am still killing all their visibly armed guards if I can.
