For a second there I thought the villain was going to do the smart thing and just avoid the hero because otherwise nothing prevents them from succeeding.

It allows him (or Her... Kenseti could be a woman) to animate his/her characters and bring them to life as well as humorously doing so.

Tehehe, this comic reminds me of when I use to play pokemon, you must play differently then me, because I never had to or wanted to use more then 1 pokemon during all of my battles, including the elite four...that starting pokemon was always at least 10-20 lvls higher then the gym leaders when I faught them...one hitting left and right is real power gaming.

Thinking about it that would make a boring comic though.

Not exactly.. you could have a team of trainers, which one of them (the anti-hero perhaps?) using only one overpowered pokemon.
(A machamp on steroids perhaps?)
