Heh, that Warbot comic's awesome. They just get funnier as they get more tragic. It's been like...years and years since Nuklear Power actually made me laugh.

Also, the Kabutops thing is just...endless untapped potential. Those things write themselves.

FOREVER ALONE

Its entire species has been wiped out, with no chance for a mate or survival of the species. Making its existence all the more pointless!

Also, according to bulbapedia, the male-female ratio of the species is 87.5% M, 12.5% F. So even if they did come across another one somehow, it would likely be of the same gender. 

So to summarize:
last of its kind/no hope for survival of species
knife-hands
starts life as a useless rock with legs
pretty much no way of dieing except through old age, since its pretty much made of rock and metal
