She is lucky she didn't need HM Cut the Pokemon ruining HM of DOOM!!! (The worst HM now that they gave Flash a boost)

Cut is a decent move for when you get it.

Rock Smash gets to be fighting type, though, and with a 50% chance to lower defense. Not great, but not bad either.

Cut and Rock Smash are both horrible moves and any Pokemon should feel bad for knowing them. Chainsaws and dynamite, however? Both totally great.

Rock smash let me beat the fifth gym in R/S once with terribly underleveled pokemon. Rock Smash on a slakoth + opponent focus punch slaking = some crazy defense lowering

Also, why doesn't she judt go over them? I mean, she could chainsaw the trees doen and make an imprompteu bridge if she wanted.
